DJ AM Adam Goldstein had told followers on Twitter on August 25 that he had "Just wrapped filming GTF in CT." Gone Too Far is an MTV series that was scheduled to debut in October. You can watch DJ AM discuss the show below.
The inspiration for the show is that I am a recovering drug addict. I have 11 years sober. Something I have always done since the beginning of my sobriety is work with other addicts in recovery. So when the question came up: 'Hey, we should work something out.' It's like, 'What would you like to do?' And other than DJ, that's kind of what I've always done.
It is still unknown if MTV will air the show, which supposedly has shot all eight episodes already. Is he integrity of the show already tarnished with DJ AM's supposed drug related death? Paramedics found drug paraphernalia at the scene, although reports of what caused his death have not been released yet. If drugs did kill him, will MTV cancel the show?
As many know, VH1 cancelled both Megan Wants a Millionaire and I Love Money 3 after one of the contestants on both shows, Ryan Jenkins, was charged with the murder of his wife, Jasmine Fiore. Jenkins was later found hanging in a hotel room in Canada.
