On Tuesday night’s season finale of “The Biggest Loser” Danny Cahill won the 250,000 “Biggest Loser” grand prize, with Danny Cahill losing an astonishing 239 pounds in eight months.
Danny Cahill now weighs 191 pounds as of last night’s season 8 finale and stated that “The Biggest Loser” fans do not even recognize him while out in public.
This season of “The Biggest Loser” was all about second chances and all of “The Biggest Loser” contestants did not take that for granted. Especially Rebecca Meyer who not only lost 139 pounds winning the at home “Biggest Loser” challenge, but found love with Daniel White who has been on “The Biggest Loser” for two seasons. Winning $100,000 at home prize, Rebecca Meyer, with a starting weight of 279 pounds, her current weight is 140 pounds.
On last night’s finale of “The Biggest Loser” there was also a marriage proposal. A tearful Antoine proposed to Alexandra on national TV, stating, “I love you with all of my heart. I’ve accomplished the impossible because you were by my side and I want us to live our lives together.” A shocked and also tearful Alexandra accepted his proposal.

I tought it was great. Someone needs to control the in studio crowd as not to be so loud to where you can't hear what the people are saying.
This is the first year i've been happy with the results! So proud of everyone and Danny's weight loss is absolutely incredible. I couldn't even recognize him. Same goes for Rebecca and Juio. It actually took until Ally said their names for me to get it. They don't even look like the same people. Everybody looked fantastic and I can't wait to see Shay again in May!!
I am totally happy for all the contestants. However, I will be the one to call this out: Is Rebecca on Drugs?? Perhaps to many weight loss pills...powder? Here is why: 1. She kept rubbing her nose. 2. She was all over the place, jittery, anxious, couldnt sit still. 3. The amount of weight loss she has had since Jay leno(11-18-09) is almost impossoble with out a prof. staff and or regular exercise. 4. She was absoluty on something.
Disagree as many of you may, but its just an opinion and obervation. I myself have dropped 58 pounds. I am happy and healthy. I am just stating some facts. Happy for everyone on the show. Just concerned about some
It was a great finale! Happy for Rebecca, she looked great, but I thought she should have chosen a little bit longer skirt - her inner thighs still need work and she kept tugging it down while standing there. Everyone looked great. Glad they gave Shay an incentive. How about Trainer Bob and Contestant Amanda... is there something going on there? =o)
I agree with Cheech and thought the same thing. Rebecca seemed to be on something.
I hate to say this, but I am so happy Rebecca won and Stacey did not. I was cheering for everyone, but her. All the contestants looked great and Danny did an amazing job.
I think Rebbecca's dress was oh so fine, her legs are (woo!) amazing and she looked absolutely SEXY. I don't think she's on drugs..(?)

Saw the final here in the uk last night- Amazing! I love shay, and agree with the comments made about Rebecca, something not right there! Danny- omg a true hero to people who are over weight, it's true you don't need money for cosmetic surgery to change your life!! X
