"So You Think You Can Dance" gave a very teary performance when Melissa and Ade were given a Tyce Diorio contemporary routine on the topic of breast cancer.
The very emotional performance was set to "This Woman's Work," a song written by British artist Kate Bush.
It was not only the performance that stuck with the audience, but more the judges very tearful comments.
"I think that has just shown me why I love dance so much," said judge Nigel Lythgoe. "Because it can express so many emotions without use of words...I think that I have just witnessed one of the most memorable routines on this show...I can't think of a better couple to have danced it than you two."
"I feel so privileged that I got to witness that, and I'll always, always remember it...It was just the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." stated guest judge Ellen DeGeneres.
Judge Mary Murphy stated, “You know this has taken myself back to a scary place and I think one reason why I was touched so deeply was the fact that you guys danced it so beautifully, it was really well done.”
And a barely able to speak judge Mia Michaels then stated, “What an important piece of work…I wish that I had the strength that you had in this piece for my daddy, cause you were so amazingly strong…Melissa you are an angel.”
