Kat McKenzie, 25, was a runner-up on the British version of Paris Hilton’s “My New BFF” that was broadcast on ITV2 earlier this year. The death is right now a mystery and authorities are investigating her sudden passing.
Details are still very sketchy but reports have revealed that Kat died suddenly on Friday. The cause is not yet clear, but police do not believe there were suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
Kat, a former pole dancer from Guilford, Surrey was runner-up to Samuel Haxtell in the show but Paris promised they would always remain friends.
Paris Hilton wrote on her Twitter page earlier today:
“I am so sad, my friend Kat from British BFF passed away. She was such a beautiful, funny, and charismatic woman. She will truly be missed.”
“It is devastating to hear of her loss, my thoughts and wishes go out to her friends and family. Love you Kitty Kat. RIP.”
Paris is currently in Dubai, UAE filming the next installment of her MTV hit reality show, “My New BFF.”

Kat was my favorite contestant on Paris Hilton's British Best Friend. I became friendly with her on Facebook where we exchanged messages and wall writings. She invited me to be her friend on there and I joined her fan page "KAT THE BITCH IS BACK!!!!!!!!" She was feisty, beautiful, tough and smart, and had big plans for her life. No doubt she would have seen them through if she'd had the chance. I had hoped to have the chance to show her the "real" Hollywood on her next visit. Have to wonder if the sudden death wasn't somehow related to the bout of appendicitis she suffered during PHBFF. It was serious enough that she had to leave the show to recuperate but she grabbed enough ratings to warrant a return. The show would have been boring without Kat. She really was a shining star, and will be missed.
R.I.P Kat. Too young to so soon. My thoughts are with her family.
