TLC’s hit reality TV show “18 Kids and Counting” mom Michelle Duggar had an emergency c-section last night delivering baby number 19. Michelle Duggar was admitted to the hospital last Friday due to a gallstone and high blood pressure, and dad Jim Bob Duggar had stated Michelle Duggar and the baby were doing well.
However, there were reports of Michelle Duggar’s blood pressure needing to be stabilized, which can possibly lead to preeclampsia if it was too high.
Last night at 6:27pm, Michelle Duggar welcomed her 19th child a new daughter, Josie Brooklyn Duggar who weighs 1lb. 6 oz. Michelle Duggar was not due to give birth until the spring.
TLC has reported Michelle Duggar is resting after her c-section and the baby is in stable condition in the neonatal intensive-care unit at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
A representative from TLC stated on the Duggars website, “The most important thing right now is for Mom and baby Josie to get as much rest as possible. The family is grateful for all the prayers and well wishes during their recovery.”

Congrats on baby girl Josie.. I have been praying for Michelle and the entire family since I heard she was having problems with gallstones.. They are both in the best hospital in the world, in my opinion.. I will continue to pray for the Duggar family.. I watch their show every week.. I have met Michelle and she is a wonderful lady.. God will take care of Michelle and Josie and the whole Duggar family..
I do wish a sppedy recovery to Michelle and new baby Josie, but I do hope this is the last child for them.If anything happens to her ,19 children will be left without this beautiful and loving woman. They believe that the Lord gives you these children and you should keep having as many as he gives you.I don't agree.I think Michelle has enough to do in life with the children she has.I wish that Jim Bob would realize this and they would know that a total family with children, Mother and Father is most important. It's the quality of life this family has not the quantity.God bless you Michelle!
How is it that you state you let “God control every aspect of your life”, forgoing modern medicines in his will (i.e. birth control) and yet will have an emergency C-section preventing preeclampsia and use ICU? Isn’t that preventing Gods will? And if saving a preme that would otherwise not have survived without medical intervention is okay, then how do you still justify not using birth control?
To "question": They do not forgoe all medical intervention. The girls have had braces, Michelle has had previous C-sections, ect so on and so forth, the just do not believe in birth control. I am sure if God Forbid something happens to little Josie, they will grieve but know that it was God's Will for her to be in heaven with him. Please know what you are speaking about before you move your fingers to type.

To Question: Not using birth control - which is a known abortificant - is totally different than not using modern medicine. God explicitly states in His word that He controls the womb and that children are an heritage and a blessing. Killing babies is never okay.

Thank you for living out the truth that the LORD is the Creator and giver of life before a world that so many have turned their hearts away from God and His Word. Thank you for living out before the world how God and His revelation of Himself to us, His Word, should affect our every decision in life, including understanding that it is HE that controls the womb and the life of each one He creates.
Josie is one of those lives. Her life, her number of days and breaths, whether they be long on this earth or short, are totally in His hands. I know that YOU know this and you and Josie are now a testimony to the world of God's sovereign hand in all of our lives.

No body knows what "your" God says. All those bible stories were written for political reasons. If you haven't died, met your God and come back to talk about him, you don't know s##t.
You are so full of it. Little sheep that you are, you can't think for yourself. If we left everything up to God, what a mess things would be. People have to accept responsibility for their actions and not blame everything on their God. What a lot of crap.
So they pick and chose what they want and blame the rest on God.
Then she should have had her babies out in the field. God did not invent hospitals and doctors.
Michelle Duggar needs to realize that her vagina is not a clown car.
I like the Duggars & their show, but I think that Michelle needs to shut down the baby factory & be happy with her 19 children. Hopefully Josie makes it, just maybe Michelle's body is telling her enough is enough...it would be very sad if she cant be happy with what she has & goes for another one & perhaps they both loose their lives...19 is goood Duggars ...enough flowers..! you people should be ashamed of yourselves leaving rude comments about michelle having more kids. its her life and i do believe each child is a blessing from god, i do think they are truley blessed and should have as many children as god will give them. and to the duggars my heart goes out to you and i know baby josie will be just fine. i will pray daily for you. put trust in god as you have and it will all work out the way he wants it to. god bless the entire duggar family.

if everyone in america was like the duggar,s what a blessed place it would be no fighting,killing,raping,stealing,it would have been a happy place just being contented with whatever you have and be thankful,i think instead of pointing finger at them lets take a page out of their book, be happy and pass some love on to someone else, no martial affairs,nothing negitive.. love the duggars

i love the duggars! they seem so christian like and always humble. however, i myself would not want to have that many kids, but its your own choice. i have preeclampsia right now with my first baby girl, and i am 27 weeks. also, had high protein in my urine. they are not trying to take my baby yet. they want to keep her in as long as they can for her to grow more, but they have gave me two steroid shots for her lungs to develop better, so i am suffering in the hospital til they decide to deliver.
