Kate Gosselin attends California Women’s Conference MIA at court appearance with Jon Gosselin update

Reality TV star Kate Gosselin was apparently not required to attend the court appearance scheduled for today with estranged husband Jon Gosselin and is reportedly at the California Women’s Conference, Night at the Village. Kate Gosselin was represented by her attorney in court today.

Reportedly Jon Gosselin agreed Monday morning, to pay back the $180,000 Kate Gosselin claimed he withdrew from their joint savings account following their separation in June, by the end of the day.

Kate Gosselin's attorney provided receipts for nearly $60,000 that Jon claimed she had taken during the same time frame.
Jon Gosselin's court appearance was not so cut and dry as Jon is now accusing Kate of refusing to account for how she spent $33,000 in cash withdrawals according to Jon's attorney Mark Heller. As for the remaining $33,000 Jon said was unaccounted for, Kate’s lawyer stated the court didn’t require her to account for it at this time.
Kate Gosselin’s attorney Mark A. Momjian also stated to reporters, “Mr. Heller [Jon Gosselin’s attorney] can say whatever he wants to say, but he is not Mr. Gosselin’s attorney in the state of Pennsylvania and does not represent him in this divorce action. The judge found that Kate Gosselin gave a full and complete accounting of the monies spent on household bills and other necessities and that was all she was required to do.”

Jon Gosselin is now currently without a lawyer in Pennsylvania, Charlie Meyer resigned as of Monday, and his other attorney Mark Heller is currently not licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
The rest of the details regarding Jon and Kate’s divorce are reportedly set to be figured out during an arbitration session in November.

Kate always feels she is above everything. She listens to no one. Should always show up in court out of respect for the Judge. That was like telling the Judge to F off.

Jon just makes blunder after blunder! He rarely has an origional thought and he owes every ounce of his notoriety to TLC, Kate and the kids who made the show what it became! What female would give him a second look if Jon had just been Jon from the beginning!
I frankly think Kate has listened and followed directions well. TLC certainly is not filing a law suit against her! As for not showing up in court---that is why you hire a competent attorney, one who represents you in the court room! I am quite certain that Kate is doing things the right way, remember she is the one who likes to follow the rules!
