For someone who wanted to stay out of the tabloids and away from publicity the Hamptons during the summer is not the place to go. Jill Zarin from “The Real Housewives of NYC” has reported to People magazine regarding her dinner last night with Jon Gosselin, Kate Major (reporter for star magazine), Michael Lohan, Southampton Mayor Mark Epley and his wife, and Jill’s husband Bobby Zarin.
“Arriving at Southampton's Red Bar at 8 p.m. and taking up a large, round table in a back corner of the quiet restaurant for the next 2½ hours, Gosselin wore his white shirttails out, while Major sported a revealingly low-cut leopard-print top. Throughout the meal, she stroked his arm and even stayed close to his side when they went outside for a smoke.” – People
Jill Zarin reported to People, "He didn't seem smitten. They weren't all over each other. But they're definitely dating. It came up in conversation. She had her hands on him. But she's young. Does he really want to go out with another young girl and have kids?"
This comes on the heels of Hailey Glassman’s interview with People where she stated, “They [her parents] think of him as part of the family. They think things happen for a reason…The most important thing is if someone fits in with my family ... This is perfect. It just fits."
Coming to Jon’s defense was Michael Lohan who stated to People in a separate interview regarding Jon and is eight children, “He talks about them. He's on the phone with them all the time," said Lohan. "But unfortunately, as I well know, being a father in a divorce, it's really hard on the kids. And you just want to be with them all the time. But sometimes our exes don't make it that easy."

All this talk about not wanting to be in the public eye and tabloids knowing what you ate for lunch, "DON'T HAVE DINNER WITH JILL ZARIN AND MICHAEL LOHAN" Jon what are you thinking, your wife yes you are still married is at home with eight children, I don't know what kind of arrangement you have made with her but go see your kids and stop hanging around with blond reporters are you asking for trouble?
Maybe Jon-Boy should add another girlfriend or two and sign up for the reality show, "Big Love." Keep the faith, Kate (Gosselin, that is) eventually everyone will figure out that you got a little jaded living with a 9th child instead of a husband/man. Get a good lawyer or else Mr. Babyface will also want you to support him financially. After all, you've spent 10 years spoon feeding him, thinking for him, having a sense of humor for him... Enjoy your little rest from the spotlight as Jon-Boy (the one who whined about all that publicity) soaks up his 5 minutes of icky, sticky fame. I wonder who will fall for him tomorrow? I hear Jessica Simpson's available...but oh yeah, she's too old for him. LOL!
Jon has an odd way of showing that he wants to keep a low profile. If you ask me, he is the one who WANTS to be in the spotlight. He is also behind the rumors about Kate - which we all know are lies.
Kate is the one at home with the children and has everyone noticed she stays out of the spotlight?
Kate should sue Jon for slander.
I guess we may see him hope out to California next. Date some of the Gals from the Real Housewives of Orange County. He does seem to get around. Where has he met all these celebrities?He seems to been getting around a lot and for awhile to be so chummy.
I am so disappointed in Jon's behavior, because I originally supported him because of
the way Kate appeared to relate to him (as a child). Now I know why. He is childish. He is an attention seeker. He craves the attention of women (plural!) Kate had eight kids and he was jealous that all the attention was going to them. Men can be like that. Ask a psychiatrist.
