While Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough did not receive the highest scores on “Dancing with the Stars” with their Lambada the "forbidden" dance was alive and well and burning up the dance floor. The female stars were seemingly all on fire on Monday night, receiving the top scores from the judges with four new dances, the Country Two-Step, Lambada, Charleston, and the Bolero.

Chuck Liddell and Anna Trebunskaya were first to dance, a painful to watch Country Two-Step, with Chuck looking like he was bored spinning Anna around on the dance floor. Judge Len Goodman stated, “The lift was very good, but eventually you’ve gotta come down to face that this is a dance competition.” There score from the judges was a 17.

Next up was Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas who pulled off an amazing Charleston, Melissa dressedMelissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas "Dancing with the Stars" 1920’s style from head to toe, and used her acting skills to charm the audience and the judges. Bruno stated, “You brought the 1920’s flapper back to life. You handled the role 110 percent.” While Len Goodman stated, “That was your dance…it was fantastic,” leaving the pair with a score of 28 from the judges.

Olympic swimmer Natalie Coughlin and Alec Mazo were up next dancing a romantic and elegant Bolero. Natalie looked more like one of the pro-dancers in a stunning white costume, however there were mixed reviews from the judges. Carrie Ann stated, “I’m kind of on the fence. I definitely appreciate that you went for the difficulty,” and encouraged Natalie to go for the difficulty in the future, with a final judges score of 24.

Aaron Carter and Karina Smirnoff were looking for a come back after last weeks performance, however their Lambada started off with a great gymnastics move from Aaron the judges all agreed the actual dance could have been better. Judge Len Goodman stated, “I think you should have spent more of your time on the rhythm of the dance and the raunchiness, rather than all that time fiddling about with that back flip.” Aaron’s “fiddling around” proved true with a judges score of a low 18.

Iron Chef host Mark DaCascos and Lacey Swimmer were up next dancing the Country Two-Step, while Mark was out of step for most of the dance and the music was less to be desired the judges gave a seemingly positive review. Bruno stated, “Well Mark, you should have a roll in the hay more often because your confidence went up,” leaving Mark and Lacey with a judges score of a 22.

With a remarkable come-back, dancing the Charleston was Kelly Osborn and Louis Van Amstel. Kelly stated she was up for a part in the musical ‘Chicago’, but did not get it because she could not dance, after Monday night’s performance she may be receiving some phone calls. Kerri Ann stated, “Watching you dance is like watching little baby bird learn how to fly.” The pair received a solid 22 from the judges.

Joanna Krup and Derek Hough burning up the dance floor with the Lambada on "Dancing with the Stars"Joanna Krupa and Derek Hough were apparently working very long hours practicing for this week’s performance of the Lambada. A first time shirt-less Derek Hough and always beautiful Joanna Krupa dressed in a bright yellow costume danced to great music burned up the dance floor and the judges agreed with their comments. Bruno stating, “I tell you folks don’t try this at home without taking the necessary precautions.” Judge Kerri Ann stated, “All I can say is I hope the children were in bed,” remarking on how seductive their performance was leaving the couple with a score of 26.

An injured Donny Osmond and Kim Johnson were up next dancing the Charleston. Donny’s acting skills and energy brought life to the dance along with great music. The judges agreed with Bruno stating, “This really shows, a showmen, in his element,” earning Donny and Kim the highest score for the men with a 24.

Coming back from last week, being in the bottom two, up next was Michael Irvin and Anna Demidova dancing a very boring Bolero with Anna carrying the whole dance as Michael stood there. The judges all agreed with Carrie Ann stating, “There wasn’t enough dancing…too many poses,” and Bruno stating, “your dancing is a little like the economy every week it is supposed to get better, but it’s not,” leaving the couple with one of the lowest scores of the night a 16.

Louie Vito and Chelsie Hightower were up next after a visit to Chelsie’s partner from last season Ty Murray. Ty’s help was seemingly wasted on Louie during the Country Two-Step as the pair had great music and great costumes, however Louie’s footwork was basically non-existent and he appeared a bit confused at times. Judge Len Goodman stated, “It was just a series of walks and then Chelsie did something and you walked again,” leaving the couple in a tie with Michal Irvin for last place with a score of 16.

Seemingly saving the best for last Mya and Dmitry Chaplin danced the Lambada with Mya working on the choreography with Dmitry which did not disappoint the judges. Bruno stated, “Mya that was an erotic, exotic roller coaster you would want to ride over and over and over again till you left exhausted,” leaving the dance couple in a tie for first place with a 28.
