‘Jersey Shore’ season 2 episode 1 premiere brought back fan favorites Mike ‘The Situation,’ more GTL and the return of Angelina to Miami. The cast of ‘Jersey Shore’ hit MTV show has turned cast members like ‘Snooki’ and ‘The Situation’ into household names since its premiere late last year, is back with brand new episodes. This time around, the cast was transplanted from Sea Side Heights, NJ to Miami, Florida for some “fun” in the sun.
A quick re-cap of Thursday night’s ‘Jersey Shore’ premiere season 2 episode 1, the "guidos" and "guidettes" of ‘Jersey Shore’ were traveling to Miami. Cast members took separate road trips on their way to their new residence in Miami.
Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Pauly D got their car stuck in the mud and ended up shooting off fireworks while waiting for auto service to arrive. Snooki and Jenni "JWOWW" Farley stopped at a rest area in Georgia and found Southern food such as fried pickles and the country boy who hit on them with corny pick-up lines equally unappealing. Snooki said in her on-camera recap, "Alright, we need to get out of this state, ASAP."
For season 1 couple Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, things were pretty uncomfortable. Sammi stated she still has feelings for Ronnie, but he just wants to "get creepy and get weird."
Angelina made things awkward from the start by sharing a room with ‘Situation’ and fighting with JWOWW in the cab. Reportedly Angelina will not be on many more episodes and will be leaving the ‘Jersey Shore’ house yet again.

As for Angelina’s replacement on Jersey Shore’ Deena Cortese, a friend of ‘Snooki’s,’ has been spotted with ‘Jwoww’ while filming Season 3 of ‘Jersey Shore’ in Sea Side Heights, NJ over the past few days. The cast of ‘Jersey Shore’ began filming Season 3 last week and the newest member, Deena Cortese, made her first appearance drinking beer with Snooki and JWoww.
Deena Nicole Cortese is a self-proclaimed “Bad Ass Brunette” just began filming ‘Jersey Shore’ and according to her mom Joann, we can expect fireworks.
“She’s very funny,”… “She likes to have a good time, she has a good heart, she has a sweetheart, she might not show it but she really cares about other people’s feelings, she really does.”
