With Father’s Day fast approaching, finding the perfect gift, card or quote for Father's Day for many moms and kids can be a bit overwhelming. One creative and affordable way to show appreciation for dad is to create a signature sundae that includes all of his favorite treats. Reality TV star from the 'Bachelorette' and mom, Trista Sutter, shared her family’s favorite Father’s Day sundae recipe.

“Trista Sutter’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookie Surprise”
“When it comes to celebrating Father’s Day, I thought it would be special to have Max and Blakesley create something for Ryan I knew he would LOVE! Not only is he a huge fan of ice cream, but our “Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookie Surprise” incorporates his other all-time favorite treats,” quoted Trista Sutter, reality TV star and mom.
“Creating a signature family sundae for Father’s Day is a fun and inexpensive activity that I wanted to do with the kids because it allows us to spend time together, get creative, and make a sweet treat for dad that we would all enjoy."
Ingredients:
1 Scoop Vanilla Caramel Brownie Ice Cream
1 Oatmeal cookie, crumbled
2 Tbsp. Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup
2 Tbsp. peanut butter spread, melted
Reddi-wip
Directions:
- Scoop Vanilla Caramel Brownie Ice Cream into bowl.
- Mix peanut butter and Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup in microwave safe bowl and heat for 15-20 seconds in microwave. Drizzle chocolate peanut butter topping onto ice cream.
- Crumble oatmeal cookie and sprinkle over ice cream. Top with Reddi-wip (For a Father’s Day surprise quote, write “DAD” in whipped cream on top of sundae!)
During an interview with celebritybabyscoop.com Trista Sutter was asked, "Besides enjoying some yummy treats, what are your other Father's Day plans?" Trista replied by stating, "We are actually joining 3 other families for our first official camping trip and we can't wait! It will just be one overnight adventure, so we'll see how it goes. The kids made Ryan something special, but I can't reveal it until Father's Day...just in case he sees this interview online!"
