VH1 Tough Love 2: The ladies receive makeovers and communication is key on episode 2

On the second episode of VH1 Tough Love 2, the girls had deal with Taylor moving into the house, got makeovers, and went on a dating event where their dating prospects wore masks.  It was an eventful episode to say the least.  Taylor has not only brought back her unique personality and style, but a little drama as well.  She left the first season of bootcamp early to "work on herself" and it seems as though everything Taylor learned the first time around has been forgotten.  Will she make it through the full 10 weeks this time around or will she leave once again before the full transformation has taken place?  It remains to be seen, but for now she is back and ready to try again.

This week's was about communication.  The girls went to Knott's Berry Farm where they were set up on dates with guys who were instructed to give the ladies specific information about themselves.  Then, the girls had to climb into a dunk tank and answer questions about their dates.  Surprisingly, the self-absorbed Kanisha was the only one who did not get dunked into the water.  Good job Kanisha!  Don't be shallow girl, it is not cute!

After the trip to Knotts Berry Farm, it was time for makeovers!  Taylor wasn't feeling it even though Steve told her she looked like Simba and he wasn't lying.  Taylor looked a little crazy with her super-tan and her nappy blonde hair.  How she thought she was looking fly is beyond me.  Luckily, she came to her senses and got a makeover.  All of the ladies looked great after their makeovers and should have been happy with the results.

From there, the girls were off to their masquerade ball.  Jenna was more comfortable and ditched her nervous laughter.  Liz continued to make a love connection with Dave.  Kanisha was friendly and wasn't interviewing the men.  She even had one guy say he wanted to take her on a date.  Rocky was a totally different person.  She introduced herself as Raquel and was trying a more conservative approach.  In fact, she earned herself a date and did the best job of the week. Angel wasn't so lucky.  She was in the hot seat.  She wasn't taking the challenge seriously.  She called her date boring, but Steve said she was passive aggressive and that she treated the guy like a customer in her club.  Ouch! Angel is going to have to shape up or ship out.

More Tough Love next week!  In the meantime, check out this week's rules and a little footage below.

  • Rule #20 - If you don't keep your ear to the ground, you'll never the buffalo coming.
  • Rule #40 - When a guy says something nice to you, just accept it.
  • Rule #87 - If you want to impress a guy, don't speak with your mouth full of food.
