Paulina Porizkova
By now America's Next Top Model fans have probably heard that Tyra Banks fired ANTM judge, Paulina Porizkova. Porizkova was on the show for a few seasons and followed behind other departed supermodel judges Twiggy, Kimora Lee Simmons, and Janice Dickinson.

Supposedly, Porizkova was fired via a phone call on her birthday. The rumor mill said that Porizkova was fired because she had an ego problem, because she and Banks didn't like each other and that she was fired because she was too old (although Porizkova is only forty-four years young). Tyra Banks, however, says that she had to make the cut due to hard economic times and that she was "cutting the fat".
Is Tyra telling the truth or is she just an ego maniac who can't share the spotlight with other supermodels? Although I love the ANTM franchise, watching a few episodes of The Tyra Show you get the impression that Tyra might be a little full of herself. Then again if you're a world class supermodel turned mogul you'd think you were hot stuff too. I guess we'll be waiting until next season to find out if ANTM is cutting the fat for the economy or for its host and creator - Tyra Banks.
