'More to Love' - a new reality show on FOX premiering tonight

Luke Conley/FOX

'More to Love' is a new reality show premiering tonight, July 28, on Fox at 9 PM.  So, what is this show all about?  'More to Love' is from the creator of 'The Bachelor', Mike Fleiss.   Only instead of a hard body, Hollywood-esque dream boat cast as the bachelor it's a "regular" guy.  This regular guy is a subcontractor and real estate investor named Luke Conley.  Luke is 26 years old and stands at 6'3" and weighs-in at over 300 pounds.  He isn't your washboard abs stereotype, but that doesn't mean he isn't looking for love.  Luke wants to find that special lady and move over skinny girls because he's taking applications from "real women" only.

The "real women" that will be on the show are:

  • Amanda is a 23-year-old college student from Los Angeles, CA.
  • Anna is a 27-year-old plus sized model from San Francisco, CA and currently lives in Los Angeles, CA.
  • Arianne is a 37-year-old entertainer from Wichita, KS and currently lives in Santa Monica, CA.
  • Bonnie is a 25-year-old make-up artist from Portland, OR.
  • Christina is a 23-year-old student from Brighton, MI.
  • Danielle is a 25-year-old theater company technical director from Los Angeles, CA.
  • Heather is a 22-year-old college graduate from Bondurat, IA and currently lives in Ankeny, IA.
  • Kristian is a 26-year-old substitute teacher from Wallington, NJ.
  • Lauren is a 26-year-old event planner from Alexandria, VA and currently lives in Atlanta, GA.
  • Magali is a 24-year-old teacher from Los Angeles, CA.
  • Malissa is a 26-year-old waitress from Los Angeles, CA.
  • Mandy is a 26-year-old fitness and dance instructor from Long Beach, CA.
  • Melissa is a 21-year-old nanny from Baton Rouge, LA and currently lives in Beverly Hills, CA.
  • Michelle is a 32-year-old production coordinator from Los Angeles, CA and currently lives in Orange County, CA.
  • Natalia is a 28-year-old make-up artist from Fort Worth, TX and currently lives in Dallas, TX.
  • Natasha is a 25-year-old rocket scientist from Sebastopol, CA and currently lives in Los Angeles, CA.
  • Sandy is a 30-year-old dancer from Meyer, IA and currently lives in New York City.
  • Shari is a 34-year-old corporate trainer from Miami, FL and currently living in Los Angeles, CA.
  • Tali is a 26-year-old artist and motivational speaker from Aurora, CO and currently living in New York City.
  • Vanessa is a 32-year-old criminal defense attorney from Los Angeles, CA.

Tune into a mini moment in reality television history - the first time an overweight reality show cast won't be weighing in or fighting to win by losing weight.

Fat is Fat no matter what you call it. If they say they want to be fat they're lying. I give this show about 3 weeks then the morbidly curious will have had enough.

I think it's ABOUT TIME a show like this came around!!! As a plus size girl, it just doesn't seem fair that all the movies about love and romance and reality shows like Bachelorette and Bachelor make it seem as if only the thin girls deserve to find their happily ever after! We're all human and we all want to find our special someone ... regardless of size, race, gender, etc.

Tom you are a moron! Everyone need love Thin or Fat. People might not chose to be fat or thin sometimes that’s just the way it is. So why shouldn't we feature a show with plus sized people being happy too? I’m excited to see this show just as excited as I am to watch The Bachelor or The Bachelorette.
