On the season finale of reality television show For the Love of Ray J 2, Ray J decided to pick Connie Deveaux - a.k.a. Mz. Berry - to be the woman that he wants to start a a new life with.
Ray separately took Platinum and Mz. Berry out on romantic dates which involved time on Ray's yacht, dinner, and an entire night for the couple to spend together in a fancy hotel suite.
The most surprising aspect of the show was the fact that Mz. Berry was still Ray's top choice, despite her ultimatums. During the entire episode, Ray went on about how impressed he was with the chemistry he had with Platinum and he seemed to be totally smitten with her. When he went on his date with Mz. Berry, however, she played no games. She told Ray up front that he either needed to be faithful to her or keep it moving. Platinum said the same thing, but she wasn't as bold as Mz. Berry.
Everyone in the house referred to Mz. Berry as "grandma," even though she was only about 10 years older than the other 20-somethings in the house. Even down to the last show, Platinum was making comments about Mz. Berry going through menopause.
Obviously, Mz. Berry had been doing something right. Her emotional break-downs and trust issues weren't enough to run Ray off. He said that he did not pick Platinum because his relationship with her reminded him of other casual relationships he had been in the past that did not satisfy him.
Surely being a grandma doesn't seem too bad to the other girls at this point.

Mz. Berry is 32...not old @ all!! Just 4 years older than Ray J. Clearly she stood out from the other girls in terms of her personality. Much calmer, mature, and nurturing. I thought she was the better choice.
to get defferent result u have to change u r approach .forget age ray j problem solving ability and focus is evidence of his readiness to be with this loving lovly no non-sence lady.

mz berry seems nice enough but i don't think she was a good pick for him either i think someone a little less emotional and less insecure, because she really came off and insecure. the other girls weren't good choices either. he should'va just given chardonnay a chance, and standing next to mz berry they don't match you know? anyway whatever he'll learn eventually.

I think they are so right together and the way she reacted was normal i think i would have done the same in that situation.They look like they in love and I personally wish them the best. Smooches to both.

ms berry was the best choice he could of made of course she did something right that night he has someone mature and knows what she wants the only thing is that in a few years if they are still together she wont be able to have children so u better hit that rite ms o.g i give her props though.

I cant believe that's who he chose don't get me wrong i am happy for them but i just don't feel it was a good choice. She seems to emotional and she has a 13 year old son and trust me they are stubborn. I think he should of met her kids before he chose. Not that the kids should have the final say but it would give ray j a chance to see if hes ready to be a dad over night. Even though i don't like mz berry a lot i cant really say who would be better i mean i personly liked luscious and platinum the most and flosy. Well I hope he made the right choice...

Jaguar was the girl for Ray J. He was in too much of a rush for kisses and smooches. Jaguar was high class and super smart. Mz. Berry is a real cry baby, too grown to be jealous and Ray J is too immature to be a father.

rayj made a great choice when choose mz. berry.during the time when rayj spent with mz.berry u could see how his mannerisms change when interacting with her.rayj didn't display any of his playboy side instead he was very caring and loving. they made a great fit.i could see a glimpes of the terrific young man the rayj is trying to become. goodluck 2 u both.

I think Mz.Berry is really sweet and caring also a pretty lady dont get me wrong but she is way to needy and crys waaay to much also has to much baggage, i just dont think she is going to be able to handle his life style cuz she couldn't even handle him around the girls in the house.. I think hes gonna regret his choise and be back for season 3......

I'm extremely excited for Ray J and Mz. Berry what a perfect couple i don't think she was askin for anything outrageous respect is what we all should put forth considering the lifestyles they are gonna live, Make sure u give it a chance and don't give up at the drop of a dime, haters are everywhere. This was your decision and you knew it in your heart, yes she has children but they have a father and i know she's more than capable of handling her biz, Don't give up, the chemistry is there even tv fanatics felt it.

I think you should have picked jaguar because she seems that she could be the one for you. Mz.Berry was my second choice for you but she's justed TOO emotional, but serious why did you get rid of jaguar.

I am glad Ray J picked Mz Berry. It is not about the age love don't have an age on it. He need someone that is grounded and level headed not someone who love to party all the time.
Mz Berry has class and intelligence... Platinum is a typical club chick. I think Mz Berry is more of a woman as well. She is sweet, tender, and exposes her true feelings. I think she was the most real girl. Ray J is a lucky dude for sure. A guy like myself is looking for a woman like Mz Berry...so many good qualities, she's a role model.
I am so happy he chose Mz Berry!! She is a really classy beautiful woman. She wasn't bitchy and there to be someone's bff. She was actually there for Ray. All girls are a little jealous so the fact that Platinum acted like she didn't care about any of that meant she's either lying or didn't give a damn about him. It's good to see he wasn't fooled by all those girls fake personalities. He got the real women that will make him happy!

I just want to say congratulations to both Mz. Berry and Bro Ray J! It was obvious (to me, anyway), that she was the best choice of all the girls in the house, and I hope that their relationship will be (as the Temptations said) "Like a snowball rolling down the side, of a snow covered hill"...Always and forever growing!
