The American Idol grand finale is tonight! In about twelve short hours, we’ll know if Adam or Kris takes the prize. I’ve been reporting live from the Nokia Theatre this week and there is plenty of buzz about the celebrities who will be in attendance tonight. Last night, this Examiner spotted Glenn Morshower (Aaron Pierce) from “24,” along with Annie Wersching (Agent Renee Walker). Katie Holmes and her daughter, Suri, were spotted in the audience during the live telecast, as well as actor Anthony Hopkins – will they all make a second trip to the Nokia Theatre tonight for the Grand Finale?
Here’s a quick preview of some celebrities rumored to be in attendance tonight at the finale!
Of course, the top 13 idols from this season will be at the finale, including fan favorites Allison Iraheta and Danny Gokey. You’ll be sure to see Idols from past seasons, as well. Yesterday we caught a glimpse of many past Idols, including Blake Lewis, Kristy Lee Cook, Hayley Scarnato, LaKisha Jones, Mikaila Gordon, Chris Richardson, Carly Smithson, Bo Bice, Vonzell Solomon, Kimberly Caldwell, Kevin Covais, Justin Guarini and Paris Bennett. I’m sure we’ll see more of these familiar faces tonight!
Of course, the show itself promises to host an impressive list of celebrities. Last night, Carrie Underwood closed the show out with an awesome performance of “Home Sweet Home.” Tonight, the Idol agenda promises even more exciting performances. Some of the stars rumored to appear on Idol tonight are Cyndi Lauper, Queen Latifah, Carlos Santana, David Cook, Keith Urban, Lionel Richie, the Black Eyed Peas, Rod Stewart and Jason Mraz. There are even more rumors swirling the internet with surprise performances, so be sure to tune in tonight!
