America's Next Top Model, Episode 7: The green eyed monsters always go home.

For the challenge this week, the girls had to make it to several go-sees  in a limited amount of time. Although the go-see challenge has been a challenge on every cycle of ANTM, the challenge on this cycle had quite a twist. The girls had to split into teams of two and have one person from the team drive to meet the agencies. Also, the girls were only given road maps to help guide them in the right direction. What was really interesting about this challenge was the fact that it seems to be one of the few challenges that girls have been faced with that have truly tested their modeling and nagivation skills at the same time. The girls were driving in the busy streets of Los Angeles, so this would have been quite a task for anyone. It was also funny that the judges decided to give a group of women a road map to follow, because they probably thought that a group of young girls would have trouble following it.

It was a breath of fresh air to see the models being fully responsible for their own time and being put in a very realistic situation (as opposed to the past go-see challenges where they have had absolutely no transportation or contact with anyone close to them). Rae and Sundai were in a team together. Rae did not have the best driving skills and she was driving under the speed limit. Sundai made a good point when she said that Rae's nurturing side was kicking in and it was probably the reason that she was being so cautious. It was really odd when one the agencies claimed that Brittany was rude when she put a pair of shoes she tried on back on the table. This was something that it would take an experienced model to know, and it's hard to understand why they expected her to know that. The girls had to read a script at one of the agencies, and Laura tried to fake a British accent. It was horrible and the judges did not like it. They seemed to like Nicole's personality and thought she was nice.

The agencies felt that Jenn was being a little too heavy on the makeup, Laura had no range, Brittany was robotic, Kara was scruffy, Erin was too timid, and  Nicole lacked energy. When it came down to it, however, Nicole had the best go-sees. Unfortunately, Sundai and Erin were eliminated because they did not make it the judging on time. Nicole won free outfits, a pair of diamond earrings, and a spot on a commerical shown on national television.

The girls are really starting to turn green with envy over Nicole. In the beginning of the episode, they mocked her and said that she had "the social skills of a fetus" and claimed that they did not think she was doing well in the competition. The girls seem to have trouble understanding that every time that they start picking on one girl, they end up going home. The judges feel that Nicole lacks energy, but she has beautiful pictures and is very sweet.

The girls had photo shoot were they had to pose with martial arts swords while being lifted with a harness. They even got a moment to learn the right moves and pick their strongest pose.

At elimination, Jessica White was the guest judge. The judges had positive comments about most of the girls' pictures, but they did say (in better words) that Nicole had a bland personality. Sundai and Kara were in the bottom two, and Kara was sent packing because the judges felt that she was not trying hard enough and slowly going downhill.
