The romances are heating up on 'Bachelor Pad'

What makes "Bachelor Pad" so good is that it's like both The Bachelor & Bachelorette rolled up into one.  Each  week one guy and one girl have the advantage  of choosing whom they want to go out with after winning the week's competition. Each has control over their object of affection, in the same way "The Bachelor" or "Bachelorette" of the season does.

This past week the couples grew even closer and more intense. The relationship between Tenley & Kiptyn is heating up thanks to Tenley winning the Questionaire contest competition and getting to chose Kiptyn for her one on one date. Their romantic date brought them to Catalina via a helicopter where they got  to go ziplining (Tenley said "it helped take their relationship to new heights" bu-dum-dum) and have a romantic dinner on the beach. When Tenley gave Kiptyn the rose and asked if he'd accept, he said "I accept you." Aw. The date ended with them accepting a night together in the fantasy suite. That's also part of whats so great about Bachelor Pad. The fantasy suite overnights happen on a weekly basis vs having to wait until the end of a Bachelor season. I actually saw Tenley in an interview yesterday and she said that when they were filming their first romantic kiss, a crew guy screamed that a bird had left him a little gift. Supposedly getting pooped on by a bird is good luck, so Tenley took that as a very good sign. These two seem like the real deal similar to Trista & Ryan. Back at the house however, they are keeping their relationship on the dl (down low)  so as not to appear as a couple that people want to split up. Noone's really buying it though.

The one on one date between Jesse (who was the male winner) & his choice Peyton, didn't seem to go as well. Turns out they may not have as much chemistry as first thought. Peyton is starting to see him more like a brother. Thoug,h she did get the rose on their date.

The questionaire competition was painful to watch. Everyone was given questions to answer in private. However, for the competition everyone was asked to vote in front of everyone else on a piece of paper, whom they thought the group as a whole voted for each particular category.  The ones which brought the girls to tears were  the category of "Always the bride never the bridesmaid" which went to Natalie, who did not take it well.  Though David and Natalie are a "couple" now, they are not letting anyone know and thus David felt bad that he couldn't go and comfort Natalie. Also harsh was the dumbest category which went to Gwen. Elizabeth was upset to be voted "Most Shallow" and also received the "worst boob job" category. Ouch. Not fun. Luckily for Elizabeth, she had Kovacs there for support. He's admitting that he's starting to care more and more for Elizabeth, claiming the money is not as important anymore. Personally, I have a theory that the reason why some of these romances heat up is because they don't have the distractions of real life. Most people seem to run from relationships, but in the Bachelor world they are forced to sit still and get to know one another.

In the end Krisily & Wes were sent packing. Krisily left a sore loser & spouted off at everyone on her way out the door. She had put her trust in people in the house, but in the end people voted differently than what they had told her. Again, this is a game. Noone should take it that seriously.  Though I'm sure that's easier said, outside looking in. Wes was pretty vocal that he wanted to split up all the couples in the house, which didn't go over very well to anyone who was an "insider" and part of a couple.
