Las Vegas properties are still drawing a crowd

When someone mentions Las Vegas, they immediately think of the Las Vegas strip. After all, Las Vegas is considered the entertainment capital of the world. The strip area offers world class dining, unparalleled shopping, exciting night life and numerous entertainment options. Now you can live right in the middle of the action. There are several high rise condos right on and around the strip. Sky Las Vegas was the first residential high rise on Las Vegas Boulevard and has resale units available. The massive CityCenter project by MGM Mirage will offer both residential and condo hotel units on Las Vegas Boulevard by the end of 2009 (also making it the largest "green" project in the state), plus there are another four projects just a block or less away from the strip.

The revitalization of downtown Las Vegas is still underway.  Loft lovers will find a wide range of Las Vegas lofts for sale in the downtown area. Recently completed loft projects include Soho and Newport lofts. The area has been divided up into seven distinct districts, with something for everyone.  The Fremont street experience draws thousands of visitors every year and may be seeing an expansion.  The new factory outlet mall, located next to the World Market is just minutes from the downtown area.

Las Vegas Senior Living

Because of the mild, dry climate, no state tax and 24 hour access to dining, shopping and entertainment, Las Vegas is becoming a favorite destination for today’s baby boomers.  Las Vegas and Henderson offer several gorgeous active adult housing communities as well as luxury age restricted condominiums. Because of our mild winters, the Las Vegas valley is still drawing retirees.

Golf & Country Clubs

Las Vegas also has several gorgeous master planned communities. Gated and non-gated communities with luxury amenities are readily available. Some communities also offer a mixture of Las Vegas condos and homes, giving potential residents a choice of lifestyle.  There is literally, a community for every taste and lifestyle. Home prices in the Las Vegas valley have dropped, offering some stunning deals in some of the most prestigious communities.

Why people are moving to Vegas

However, Las Vegas is more than just neon lights. Las Vegas has something for everyone, whether you’re a NASCAR fan or a nature lover. There are several museums, cultural centers and sporting events as well as the beautiful Red Rock National Conservation area, Lake Mead and Mount Charleston.  Las Vegas also offers some of the most exciting golf courses in the world, including the only tournament players club (TPC) and stadium courses in the state. Whether you are looking for a new luxury home on the course, a lake front condominium or your first family home, Las Vegas has it all.

Las Vegas has been hard hit by massive foreclosures. While that isn't good news if you had purchased a home in the last three years, home buyers are finding incredible deals. These super low prices are drawing in investors and first time home buyers alike. Sales over the past three months have exceeded records set in the "boom" years according to the Greater Association of Las Vegas Realtors.
