Denver's RollerDolls had home court advantage in the Rat City All Stars last sanctioned WFTDA bout. June 12th, the All Stars, ranked #6, took on Denver's Mile High Club, ranked #4.

Though Rat City took an early lead, and saw some amazing jams skated by Primp Daddy and Juliet Bravo, it became an uphill battle to keep up with the Mile High Club. Must have been the altitude. With 17 minutes on the clock, the bout tied up, and then MHC took the lead, and kept it.

Rat City turned in a valiant effort, but walked away leaving the RollerDolls undefeated this season. According to the Denver website: "Denver’s Mile High Club has given Rat City their third and fourth biggest losses ever with this 70 point score difference and last season’s 78 point win. "

The score came out 205-135, which is an uncharacteristically wide margin for the Rat City team. Still, Rat City has shown they have they are a force to be reckoned with in this sport, and so far the only team to draw nearly 7,000 fans to a bout. Great season, for the four home teams, and the All Stars still have a few bouts on the road left.
