Rat City Rollergirls sisters in the north held the competition which would determine who continued on to the championship at Edmonds Community College. In the June 12th bout, Jet City Rollergirls decided which two of their four teams would be fighting it out in the final Championship Bout on July 10.

Pink Pistols took on the Hula Honeys in the first match up. Despite several power jams, the Hula Honeys could not catch up to the competition and lost by a whopping 106 points. Final score had the Pink Pistols at a score of 187, and Hula Honeys at 82.

Next came a tighter match between diabolic CarnEvil and speed-skating Camaro Harem. CarnEvil edged into the lead and kept it. Final score had CarnEvil with the win, 169 -105.

The Championship Bout will no doubt be an exciting match between the winners, Pink Pistols and CarnEvil as pink and purple battle it out on the rink. Come cheer on the Rat City sister team, which still features some Rat City skaters as coaches and occasional skaters. You gotta love the tight knit dysfunctional family that is roller derby.
