Roland Little tried retiring after 36 years in marketing and public relations. Still, he enjoys playing with a keyboard. His first real job was as a reporter and photographer for a small Ohio daily newspaper. He moved onto airline public relations and marketing. Industrial journalism for a time captured his attention as he headed The Airline Editors Forum, an arm of the Air Transport Association based in Washington. Other sectors he has covered include iron mining, railroads, aerospace, maritime shipping and tourism.
