Brief History:
Pulled from St. Louis, Mo. thru Tulsa to Okla. City and back on a daily basis from 1942 to 1947 pulling the Frisco Meteor. The engine was demoted to freight service in 1947 until it was officially retired in 1950. The 4-8-4 "4500" was donated to the City of Tulsa in 1954 and was parked in Mohawk Park Zoo on August 26, 1954.
