Ever classless:Savage from his old Website
Immigrant bashing and hatred for minorities runs through Michael Savage's radio show like a low-grade fever.
It's a wonder that stations broadcast him nationwide and that advertisers will risk placing a product next to so much vile, putrid, divisive, sensationalistic, unadulterated hatred and race-baiting. (Even if most of the ads I hear a local affiliate KNEW-AM are for some fake snake oil that makes you lose weight by pooping your brains out. Actually that may be the perfect sponsor for this pile of detritus.)
Anyway, freshman Republican Congressman Joseph Cao from Louisiana was questioned about some of Savage's comments and issued some strong rebukes, calling him replusive.
Savage has for years claimed that new generations of immigrants are less educated and less worthy of being Americans than those who came over in the past such as his Russian Jewish parents. Believe me, there were haters here then who said the same about Jews and every other new immigrant group.

Today on the show Savage claimed he was taken out of context, but any regular listener knows these are comments he makes often, although frankly, he often comes off like a Hyde Park Speakers Corner shouter, or a mentally ill person and changes tack radically.
For example yesterday he said George Bush sounded retarded in his last interviews with the press and had led an administration that illegally conducted a war and illegally ransacked an economy.
Seven years ago when liberals said the same thing Savage said they should be imprisoned as traitors.
Savage, whose real name is Michael Weiner and whose son and family own and run the company that makes the energy drink Rockstar, is great for comic relief but it's really sad when seemingly intelligent people give him credibility. If Limbaugh's listeners are ditto heads, Savage's are Doo Doo heads.
PS: Savage's syndicator Talk Radio Network is issuing an earlier feed, trying to entice O'Reilly affiliates now that the bloviator is leaving the air waves. It would put him up against Limbaugh.

It's amazing how much play clowns like savage get, given their infantile logic and nasty disposition. It's all bread and circuses, even in the 21st century.

Savage has never once given off the feel of racism. He is against Illegal immigration, which quite frankly all people should be.
He only hates when minorities act as if they we're better then white people. I know you may enjoy being walked all over by a person from another race because your white, but I sure as hell don't.

Well perhaps you should get your self checked out. Because it's been my understanding that when talking the subject can change radically. I remember one time I was talking with my friend (who is a Liberal By the way) we went from tacos to politics in 5 minutes. So either you are so stupid that you can only focus on one subject at a time. OR 92.5% of the human race is "Mentally ill" with the same thing.
The only time I have ever head savage say "They need to be held as traitors", was a few months ago when people we're talking about the fairness doctrine. Which to be quite honest, hes right about them being traitors. I don't know if locking them up is necessary. However I am a moderate who is quickly becoming conservative. Not because my views are changing, but the left is leaning so far, the middle of this nation is becoming the right wing!

When Obama won the presidency did you shout something like "Yay the first black president!" Or "Shoot a black man became president." In which one are you a Liberal and which one are you a Conservative? Chose then read below for the answer.
The Answer is None of the above. If you we're truly smart you would know both comments are raciest. I remember when he became president and some people I knew who I use to debate with we're saying "Yay First black president!" Where I was saying "Obama was black?" This got my point across stronger then explaining it. However I doubt you will be able to detect it so I will anyway.
The reason I said "He was Black?" was because I was against both him and John McCain in the the election. People I would debate with being the raciest that they are, would assume I disliked him because he was black. So me saying to them "He's black?" made them realize that they we're paying attention to his race the entire time, while I didn't even know it.
Granted I did know he was black, I never once brought that up in a debate. I didn't like his policies.
But I have to apologize. I understand your 1 track mind probable is still back on "doo doo head". And unfortunately did NOT make the jump.
I'm a minority who has been listening to Savage for years... I've never come across a moment where I felt Savage displayed hatred for minorities. And Savage does not bash immigrants, he bashes illegal immigrants.
I will just not vote for cao. It is that simple. If he like illegals so much he can give his citizenship back and get the hell out of public office.
Michael Savage is a disgraceful, angry, racist, hate-monger. We conservatives need some real leaders, not talk show hosts who are uninformed, closed-minded, and in Savage's case, downright vulgar at times. What ever happened to the party of Goldwater, Eisenhower, and Reagan?? How at home would they feel today in our party that has been hijacked by a failed Cheney-Rove Administration that has practiced big government, fiscal negligence, unrealistic foreign policy, and has allowed racism to drive some of our issues. I don't know who I'm going to vote for in the future if the Republican party does not return to its roots!
