Michael Savage pimping for money again

Jail the protestors as traitors...savage said.

Any one who thinks Michael Savage's rights are being violated by his being on a list of terrorists and hate mongers in England should keep this in mind:

1) Savage, born Michael Weiner, suggested during the first Iraq war protests that protests should be immediately jailed without trial as violators of the sedition act. So much for his current claims to supporting free speech. That is a lie.

2) He now supports the "Free Speech" award he got from the brown-nosing Talkers Radio magazine. At the time he didn't bother to show up to collect the award. It was given as a misguided attempt to praise a conservative who actually spoke out against George Bush by the magazine's publisher Michael Harrison. It was then and is now a terrible and amatuerish idea to praise someone who has spent his career fighting against free speech. Harrison should be ashamed of himself.

3) Watch this video of Savage and wife attacking a camera crew and tell me if he is just about speech, or if he actually incites violence and lies about it. This goes beyond free speech, if you ask me.

4) Lastly, Savage uses this as another grandstand to raise money from suckers, as he did in his frivilous suit against CAIR and in his suits against Web sites that wrote ill of him (free speech indeed). Consider this: he raised nearly a million dollars for his nonprofit "Paul Revere Society." The money has never been accounted for and his tax exemption was pulled by the Feds and the State. You suckers bought him a nice boat and helped finance more hate speech.

5) He's appealing to Hillary Clinton to appeal his ban? Sickening. Another carnival barker attempt to get attention.

Freedom of speech is freedom of speech. I don't care if its liberal protesters or conservative shock jocks. Any liberal worth his salt or conservative who values the free west should be all over this. It's the idea of freedom not the person. Everyone should protect this right. The problems with both ultra conservatives and leftest liberals they seem to come up with rationalizing why someone doesn't deserve to speak there mind. Right wingers rationalize silencing protesters as traitors and left wingers rationalize silencing conservative family values as hate speech. I think this is one thing everyone should agree on, freedom of speech is important to society. Thanks

IT's pretty obvious you're a gay man who's taken offense at Michael's opinions. Get over it.

It's obvious that Savage's show is on the ropes. He is reduced to selling dog food and car warranties and seasonal crap. If you hear a sponsor on his hate filled show contact the sponsor and let them know you won't be buying the product because they support Savage. Free speech doesn't mean you're entitled to paid sponsors!

Larry I take offence at any sleazeball who incites others to hatred. As the article states he is pimping for dollars from bottom feeders like you. I hope you nutbags get the pleasure of listening and paying for Savage for years but I and many others willl cintinue to contact any sponsors and make them aware of our disapproval. I'm confident the free market will sort it out.

Your arguments are worthless. You obviuously dislike Michael, but hey.... that's your problem, not ours
