Chris Brown allegedly continues to pay for his physical altercation with ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
According to reports, Chris Brown’s vocals were removed off of a song that appears on rapper/producer Timbaland’s forthcoming album Shock Value 2.
Though Marcus Spence – a spokesperson for the producer – brushed away rumors that suggested that Chris Brown’s vocals were removed because of his tainted image, Spence insists that Chris’s vocals were removed as a result of a creative decision understood by both parties.
Gossip website TMZ are singing a different tune.
According to the site, Chris Brown was removed from the song “The One I Love” because Timbaland did not want to be associated with Chris Brown due to the controversy stemming from his altercation with Rihanna.
Rapper D.O.E., who appears on “The One I Love,” says that Chris Brown’s vocals were removed from the track because ”some people” did not think that it would be a wise idea to have Chris associated with the song for his sake. This of course was before the title was changed from “Maniac” to “The One I Love.”
Chris Brown is scheduled to release his latest album Graffiti on December 8.
