The N6 Lindbergh station parking is the king of kings when it comes to Atlanta transit parking. Not only does it have easy access from two highways and one major city road, it has three parking decks, daily and long-term options as well as access to all north/south trains (see area map).
Directions to the Lindbergh station
The Lindbergh station is off of Piedmont Road near Sidney Marcus. There are several options to get there:
-
Take Piedmont Road through the city. You can turn onto Lindbergh Drive for the City Center and Garson parking decks, or turn on Sidney Marcus for the Sidney Marcus deck, which also includes long-term parking for $8.
-
From the south/I-85: Take I-85 north to exit 86: Piedmont Road/SR 237 and follow the signs to the Piedmont Road North ramp. At the end of the ramp turn right onto Piedmont and then left onto Lindbergh Drive or Sidney Marcus, depending on which parking deck you plan to park at. You can also take the Piedmont Road North exit from the midtown/Spring-Buford connector.
-
From the north/GA 400: Take GA 400 south to the Sidney Marcus exit and turn right onto Sidney Marcus. Cross over Piedmont to reach the Sidney Marcus deck, or turn left onto Piedmont and right onto Lindbergh Drive for the other two decks.
-
From the north/Buford Highway: Take Buford Highway south to Sidney Marcus and turn right. See directions above to complete trip.
- From the north/I-85: Take I-85 south to Exit 88/GA 400/Lenox Road. Turn right off the ramp onto Lenox Road, then left at the next intersection at the Spring Buford Connector. Exit again quickly to the right for Sidney Marcus. Again, cross over Piedmont for the long-term parking deck, or turn left onto Piedmont and right onto Lindbergh Drive for the other two decks.
Other things to know:
When traveling to the City Center and Garson decks, you will go around a large bend in the road. Stay in the far right lane and merge right onto Lindbergh Drive. The first street on the right is for the City Center deck. The second street on the right at the stoplight (Garson Drive), is for the Garson deck.
Be advised that you must now take a parking ticket when entering the parking garages, but you can validate them for free daily parking inside the Lindbergh Station. There are validation machines in the north and south ends of the station. Be sure to take your ticket with you after parking your car. The parking company also asks that MARTA patrons parking in the Garson deck park on levels 4 or above to accommodate retail shoppers.
