Whether you live in Atlanta or are visiting, here is the list of 10 popular tourist attractions in the city and how to get there on MARTA. Remember that if you do have a car, you can always park at a station and ride the train, and sometimes taking MARTA downtown is much easier than driving. Keep in mind that weekends and evenings are the worst times to travel and commuting during the weekday will provide more ease.

Just wish the trip to Turner Field was a direct shot like it is at the Dome.
How do I get to the Capital Building?
Sorry for the late reply...I seem to not get notifications of new comments! The Georgia Capitol is right next to the E1 Georgia State station on the blue/green, east-west line.

how do we get from air port to piedmont park ?
Just saw your comment! Sorry for the late response. Just take any train from the airport and exit at the Midtown Station, then take the 10th Street exit out of the station and turn right. Walking time is about 15 minutes.
what is the cloest marta station to the Mall of Georgia?
The Mall of Georgia is outside of MARTA coverage area. The closest station is Doraville, but you can't get to it from there. There is a weekday commuter bus route Xpress GA 411 that departs from the Civic Center Station. It only has a few departures in the morning and in the evening for those who are going to work.

how do I get to Dome if coming from Augusta Ga
Hi there! Just saw your comment!
If you plan to take MARTA to the Dome, take I-20 West to the Moreland Avenue exit (Exit 60), which will be after you cross I-285. Turn right off the ramp and drive about 5-10 minutes on Moreland. The immediate area is a little sketchy, but it gets much better as you head north. After going past Best Buy/Target/Kroger and under the train track bridge, immediately take the next right, which will be a ramp going up to Dekalb Avenue. Turn right on Dekalb and the parking lot for the Inman Park MARTA station will be just a couple blocks down. You'll see the station as you approach it. The parking lot will be on the right and it is free. No overnight parking is allowed.
