Elizabeth Adams Miller has been a reporter for The New York Times for the past 12 years. She has also written for Newsday, Newsfactor Network.com and 12 major newspapers and magazines in Long Island. In addition, she's the author of an award-winning animal column and was an investigative news reporter for 8 years, wrote an organic growing column, co-produced and hosted her own television show and TV news features, and co-hosted a call-in radio talk show. Ms. Miller also co-authored several books on organic growing, published by companies such as McMillan and Smith & Hawkin.She has been an editor, both freelance and at several magazines, including Young Miss Magazine and Divorce Magazine, has worked as a tutor, and has headed up a non-profit 501 organization as Executive Director, overseeing over 80 programs. Ms. Miller was also trained at The Neighborhood Playhouse. She is a talent manager and was Assistant Producer at Carnegie Hall and Avery Fischer Hall in New York City.
