Author Cal Orey hits a big bull's-eye in earthquake prediction

Cal Orey

As you may know, a 6.5 hit Offshore NorCal--just as I predicted it would. I have had this 3 1/2 year ongoing quake wager with geologist Jim Berkland...for the next 6.0 in CA; he chose SoCal, me NorCal. I just got off the phone with him and yes, I did succeed with my prediction. I have this NorCal prediction documented on the Recap of Coast to Coast radio web site (noted link below); in a national magazine Jan. issue Oracle-20-20 "2010 Predictions" (online/hard copy; page 32--I pinpoint Eureka as a possible epi); Capt. Jack program on New Year's Eve; on my site www.earthquakeepi-center.com for the wager.
The wayward sea lions were a big tip off as well as my seismically sensitive critters the past few days--which is documented on EEC--forums. I noted my dogs would not go outdoors yesterday; cat too clingy around noon--also noted on EEC (they have a track record for our Tahoe Vista 4.8 in 2005/Verdi-Mogul in 2008). And yes this quake was felt widely to Reno, Incline Village and throughout NorCal. But I knew all along NorCal, Offshore near Petrolia/Eureka was going to be where it would hit. See below links.

How long ago did you first have an inkling as to this particular quake?

In May of 2007, geologist Jim Berkland (the man who predicted the major World Series quake and helped me realize I, like animals, can sense oncoming quakes) and I made a wager for the next 6.0 California earthquake. I said Northern California, he said Southern California. I was 27 miles from the epicenter of Eureka. This region is prone to strong quakes and it is was I was sensing at that time and held my ground throughout the period--even when the 5.8 hit Baja California on December 30, 2009. I still stuck with Offshore NorCal. [See the original wager gleaned from Berkland's Syzygy newsletter and my note of pinpointing it.] http://www.calorey.com/WomanPredictsQuakes.html

What do you actually experience as an earthquake intuitive when predicting vs. what you experience when the quake actually occurs?

Before a quake happens, I receive cues which come to me in dreams, visions, word/picture images, body signs--anxiety, headaches, ear tones--as well as observing Mother Nature, my seismically sensitive cat/dogs, etc., and also feeling a hunch and/or picking up on vibes from a place.
Before this 6.5 Offshore NorCal quake, the tipoff was definitely the wayward sea lions. While scientists claimed their fleeing Pier 39 was due to migration or food, I continued to note on my web site www.earthquakeepi-center.com and on Coast to Coast (January 1, 2010 Predictions Special) that I sensed the mass exodus was quake-related and they were picking up an imminent quake by fleeing San Francisco, going to Monterey then on up to Oregon. They were getting the heck out of dodge! What's more, when my seismically sensitive cat (with an uncanny track record for sensing shakers) was vocalizing two nights in row; became extremely affectionate at noon on the day of the quake and my Brittanys didn't want to go potty outdoors that morning--this was a mega head's up.
After a quake hits, sometimes, like now, I still sense it may not be over (sort of like watching a horror film and sensing the monster isn't dead and will come back). I have an earthquake headache (between the eyes like a sinus headache which I experienced before the San Francisco World Series 7.1 quake). And sometimes, quakes of this size can cause a trigger effect of more quakes as happened in California, June 2005.

Do you have this experience with quakes that occur all over the world or only ones within your generalized local area?

I feel stronger sensory data with earthquakes in my home state of California because I can pick up on my own seismically sensitive pets (two Brittanys and a black cat), my physical feelings, knowledge of history, and faults. It's teaming intuition with experience. But I have also gotten accurate hits around the world which is more of a challenge for me.

2009: Cal Orey-Author-Intuitive’s Quake Hits
These past forecasts were made on “Coast to Coast” and “Positively Psychic” radio shows; and  posted on www.earthquakeepi-center.com:
·         L’ Aquila, Italy: 6.3; April 5: Based on three moderate quakes, possible foreshocks in December 2008; intuition.
·         Long Beach, CA: 4.9; May 17: Based on intuition; history of the 1933 Long Beach.
·         Offshore NorCal: 4.9; August 7: Based on seismic lull in a region known to have moderate to strong temblors.
·         Lone Pine, CA: 5.2; October 2:  Based on gut instinct that the prior 5.0 quake the day before was a foreshock; seismically sensitive pets behaving strangely.
·         Alaska, 6.6; November 17: Based on lack of seismic activity; quake struck Queen Charlotte Islands Region but was felt in parts of AK.

It is amazing the abilities you have! I have always wondered how people who have skills like you know what is going to happen. I really enjoyed the article.

My hope is that one day - when seeing a tragedy getting ready to happen - that we can heal the earth (with the power of our minds - concentrated effort) and prevent it from occuring. Wouldn't that be nice. :)

Odd reading this this morning. Like a dream. This "gift" can have its ups and downs. It's cool to know when things are going to happen but the physical/psychological feelings are sometimes not so hot. I believe in the power that you can envision an event and stop it from happening but sometimes you have no control and the best thing is preparedness and/or go into survival mode as animals do.
