Sports Illustrated is offering a copy of Madden 2010 to new subscribers. For $49, you get 28 weeks of Sports Illustrated, an NFL Films Madden documentary dvd, and a copy of Madden 2010 for any system of your choice. Just follow this link. Note at the bottom of the page reads that if you cancel your subscription, you can choose to keep the game and dvd for $26 (meaning, you are not refunded $26 of the $49 you paid for the subscription - you do not have to pay an additional $26).
Games will not be shipped before the game is officially released, obviously, and there is no telling how long you'll have to wait for delivery, But, if you can wait to play the new Madden, this offer is a great way to save some money.

The cancellation policy has changed. If you cancel your subscription, you will not receive a refund unless you return the DVD and game. So, you can still save some money (about $10 and tax) by using the offer above, but this deal is probably best for someone who is looking to subscribe to Sports Illustrated.

I've received a couple messages from people saying they've received their copy of the game today - a week after release isn't too bad at all.

Usually the free gifts from SI arrive within a week to 10 days, so hopefully they follow suit on this one.
A week to 10 days? That would be great! If anyone has done the offer and confirm reception date, it would be appreciated. Also, please note that they changed their cancellation policy - I will update my post to reflect the change.
I've waited over two weeks now for the game.... It is still coming right?
It should be; at least, I can't imagine why it wouldn't. As I mentioned, some people already received their copies. Of course, they could just be the exception to the rule. I do know that one of the people who already received their copy signed up for this deal right around the time I wrote this article. So, if you signed up close to the Madden release date, it might take a bit longer to get to you. If you're worried, I suggest just calling Sports Illustrated and seeing what's going on.
