RNC caught manufacturing politics of fear. The Republican National Committee (RNC) suffered an embarrassing set back when documents leaked revealing the organization's plans to manufacture fear around conspiracy theories about imagined Obama-driven socialism.

The embarrassing plan to use cartoonish images to smear President Barack Obama was meant to take advantage of GOP donors with deep pockets, apparently hoping to scare them into writing big campaign checks.

A fundraising Power Point presentation lampooning Barack Obama and other Democratic leaders as 'evil' was found in a hotel room. The RNC confidential party fundraising presentation mocks donors, and explains how to manufacture and exploit supporters' fear.

The fundraising Power Point presentation, which was leaked Wednesday on the website Politico, was given by RNC Finance Director Rob Bickhart at a party retreat in Florida last month.

"It lifts the curtain on the often-cynical terms of political marketing, displaying an air of disdain for the party's donors that is usually confined to the barroom conversations of political operatives," writes Politico's Ben Smith.

Characterizing Barack Obama as the Joker, Nancy Pelosi as Cruella De Vil, and Harry Reid as Scooby Doo, the PowerPoint document reveals RNC's plan to raise funds through appeals to fear and reactionary sentiments.

The appeal to fear and reactionary sentiments toward Democrats among Republicans is a cynical ploy. It is even more proof that the GOP lacks direction and moral compass. The party of "no", lacking any positive direction, is left with a strategy of smear and misinformation, an appeal based on deranged conspiracy theories.

Is this the same as politics of lies, censorship by fear or humiliation, political correctness, race baiting, distorting historical facts, intimidation etc. that has been used by and continually used by leftist extremist here and abroad.

The RNC doesn't need to manufacture anything. Obama and his flying monkeys instill plenty of fear, unassisted. Extremists on the Left are like the man being led to the gallows (November). He pleads for his life, then insists he is innocent, and when all else fails, he attacks the sheriff, the jury, the evidence, the witnesses and the judge, and in the end, he is found weeping and wallowing in self pity. But he still swings . . .

It is not rumor about Obama being a Marxist/Socialist.
ONLY a Socialist would appoint a Communist to his Czardom.

Don't you know we have a Communist living in the WH?

How about the minority female student who hung the noose in a library at UC San Diego? Typical race baiting and "politics of fear" by the left. Good thing they didn't call Al or Je$$e to the scene they would have ended up with egg on their faces again.

You must not have been paying attention. Look at Bush's poll numbers in his last term. I know many who would not have voted for him again.
