The politics of breast cancer has gone viral with the "Pink Glove Dance", a YouTube sensation created right here in Portland, Oregon. Over 200 doctors, nurses, lab technicians, administrators and kitchen and janitorial staff from the Providence St. Vincent Medical Center star in the "Pink Glove Dance", dancing and singing to Jay Sean’s R&B song “Down” to help raise funds in the fight against breast cancer.
The video has gone viral, with over 3 million views.
The “Pink Glove Dance” is named for the pink exam gloves worn by everyone in the video. The video was filmed throughout the hospital on Nov. 4 to help raise funds in the fight against breast cancer. A portion of the sales from the Pink exam gloves will fund mammograms for uninsured women.
Enjoy the "Pink Glove Dance", and support breast cancer research, prevention and awareness.
