Orly Taitz is guilty of fraud. The birth certificate provided by Taitz as proof that President Barack Obama was born in Kenya has proven to be a forgery. The fake certificate is actually based on a copy of a birth certificate issued for an Australian man, David Jeffrey Bomford.
Taitz denies any responsibility for the fraud. Taitz is claiming the birth certificate she presented as proof of Obama's Kenyan birth is actually part of a plot to discredit her work and the movement. Yet the fact remains that Taitz and the birthers quickly and uncritically accepted the bogus Kenyan birth certificate as authentic.
This is in sharp contrast to birthers unwillingness to believe anything that debunks their theory. Birthers appear ready to accept anything, no matter how far fetched, as long as it de-humanizes and de-legitimizes President Obama. The quest is not for truth, the quest is for a justification of hate.
All the while, Barack Obama has a birth certificate documenting his birth in Hawaii on Aug. 4, 1961. In June 2008, the Obama campaign made public his birth certificate in an attempt to disprove another set of internet rumors. At that time the rumor was that Obama's middle name was really Muhammad, and that Obama was a secret Muslim, ought to destroy the nation.
The birthers are the product of that original fear, a fear magnified by the reality that Barack Obama is no longer a candidate, but President of the United States. A few, vocal Americans are simply unable to accept Barack Obama as President. This inability to accept reality results in delusion and fantasy.

Gentlemen the term you're looking for is libel(written word), slander is the (spoken word).
The Kenyan birth certificate has been proven to be fake. There are obvious items that demonstrate that it is a fake. One being a 5 digit number, actually it is two 2 digit numbers separated by the capital letter O. Even Republicans are distancing themselves from this nonsense.
Some people have contented that the document that Dr. Taitz introduced into a California court requesting AUTHENTICATION (which could come back as not authentic) is not authentic without any examination whatsoever of the document. This other document with similarities (the South Austrailian Bomford document) may well turn out to be the one that is fraudulent as opposed to the Obama document.
We simply don't know the answers to those questions, and won't know until and unless the document introduced by Dr. Orly Taitz in court is tested by forensic experts and compared to the specific book and page number in the Kenyan records. That is precisely why she requested the court to authorize performing court supervised authentication on the document. Trying and convicting Dr. Taitz on a charge of fraud without any evidence whatsoever is just the kind of nonsense that is typical of people who don't want to get to the truth in this matter but who just want to make unfounded statements.

Obama cannot be Potus based on the fact that his father was not a U.S. citizen at the time of his birth.

I'm a 'truther', not a 'birther'; however, at this point in time, I'm not sure ANY certificate we have seen has been authentic. Not until a court or someone with some REAL authority (not Fukino - she is under suspicion as far as I'm concerned with her conflicting and far reaching comments) says THIS ONE is authentic. Not until then, will I believe anything I see.

Richard Bamford is listed as the domain holder for Bomford.net where this David Jeffrey Bomford Certification of Registration was found. Bamford was just involved in a massive fraud case adjudicated in Australian on July 10th of this year.

As an aside, the short-form/long-form birth certificate debate is nonsensical. Hawaii issues the short-form certificate when someone (anyone) requests a birth certificate. The "COLB" as the birthers affectionately refer to it, is an authentic, legal document used for establishing place and time of birth. In other words, it is a birth certificate. This is not a difficult concept to grasp. Grasp it.
It is difficult to accept defeat. I felt disappointment, to say the least, when GW was elected. Twice. And there was ample evidence, including *public records* to document fraud in the election. But I moved on. I grasped it. He was my president. Unfortunately.

My understanding of the Taitz filing is that she calls for a "Authentication" of whether or not the BC was real, so you are basically saying because she sued to determine Authenticity, that makes her a fraud by asking the question be settled via Obama's production of his actual Long Form BC?
