Orly Taitz, Birther Queen, has been rejected again. US District Judge David O. Carter threw out a lawsuit questioning Barack Obama’s eligibility to hold the office based on his “natural born” citizenship status Thursday, saying the courtroom is not the proper arena to “challenge a president’s election.”
Judge Carter dismissed Barnett et al v. Obama et al. This had been Taitz's most successful lawsuit to date, which is not saying much. However, it is the one that got the furthest through the legal system.
Taitz's star has been falling for some time. Ever since beginning her wing nut campaign demanding proof of the President Obama's citizenship Taitz has been the butt of many jokes. Her and her equally nutty fellow birthers epitomize the ignorant, fearful conservative.
The case Carter dismissed received considerable publicity, but similar efforts by Taitz have been thrown out by a variety of judges. Just recently a similar case in New Jersey was dismissed. In fact, Taitz is facing $20,000 in sanctions for her unprofessional court room antics in a case in Georgia.
No doubt there will always be birthers with us, just as there are those who reject the fact that men walked on the moon. Indeed, the birther movement has morphed, and now rather than claiming Obama was born on foreign soil, they claim Obama is illegitimate because his father was a British subject.
The desire by some to delegitimize President Obama is here to stay. Some are simply incapable of accepting Obama as president. It is a curious fact, and has been the subject of much speculation.

Attorney at law, the only minor flaw in your logic is that all other attorneys at law seem to disagree with you, including the Supreme court, who have declined to hear this issue.. Technically, HE didn't spend it. His election committee did. However, the FEC prohibits spending election committee money on personal lawsuits unless a request to do so is submitted and approved by the FEC. It would be public record. There is no such document.
In short, if he truly was spending that money to "Hide his records", and didn't get FEC permission, you would have evidence that his campaign committee was breaking the law.

Here's the problem as I see. We either respect and trust the Courts or we don't and descend into mob rule.
An example: Gore won the popular vote. SCOTUS decided there would be no recount in FL and Bush won the Electoral College Vote. I didn't agree SCOTUS's decision but I accepted it. The fact that SCOTUS decisions are based on majority rule is indicative that applying the law is neither as clear or precise as we would like to think it is.
That's why we need Judges -- they judge. If it were as simple as 2+2=4 we could replace them with computers.
I believe in the Rule of Law and I believe that the Courts must interpret/apply the Law. Sometimes I like/agree with their decisions, sometimes I don't. When I disagree I contact my Senators and Representatives and encourage them to change the Law but I don't assume that the Rule of Law is faulty or that the Judge(s) were gotten to or that I live in a dictatorship.
By my count, there have been approximately 60 lawsuits filed related to Obama's eligibility. 55 have been dismissed. The others are being reviewed for dismissal..
Clearly, you will not find relief through the courts.

Has anyone out there ever seen or heard of ANY witness coming forward to say they were actually present at the birth of Obama or saw baby Obama being born or cared for as a newborn infant in ANY Hawaiian medical facility of any kind? Has ANYONE yet heard of or seen any kind of hospital documentation of Obama being born in ANY Hawaiian medical or midwife facility? If they have, I would certainly be interested in hearing about it. How odd that no hospital claims him and no witness has said they were present at his birth. And they wonder why the "birther" thing persists. WND should offer a big reward for any witness who can pass a polygraph test while stating that they saw him being born in Hawaii.
