Obama stimulus plan delivers 650,000 jobs; saves economy

President Obama's stimulus plan delivers 650,000 jobs. Grants and loans from the $787 billion economic stimulus plan has saved or created 640,329 jobs so far. As the recovery grows, the evidence mounts: the Obama administration has saved the United States from an economic calamity as devastating as the great depression.

Former President George Bush left our country broken, on the verge of collapse. From the economy, to global warming; from the credit crisis, to the middle-east stalemate; from the huge deficits, to virulent anti-Americanism abroad; Bush was a disaster for the USA. Slow, but sure, President Obama and the Obama administration are rehabilitating America.

The stimulus, pushed through the U.S. Congress in February by President Obama and the Democrats was heavily criticized by Republicans. Republicans, concerned more with politics than the success of America and Americans, have become the party of no. Yet inspite of Republican obstructionism, negativism, dirty tricks and misinformation, the Obama administration continues to heal America.

“There is strong and mounting evidence that the recovery act is putting people back to work,” Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. said at a news conference in Washington, where he noted GDP has grown 3.5%, and credited that growth to the stimulus package.

Oh really. Gag me with a spoon. This whole article is a bunch of garbage. I will agree that the government spent a lot of money in the last quarter and there are there a bunch of new government jobs.

Sound to me is the States got the money...Not the shovel ready jobs as Obama promised. On Friday, the Obama administration released the most detailed information yet on the jobs created by the stimulus. Preliminary data showed that of the 640,239 jobs created or saved, 325,000, or more than half, were jobs in education that school districts claimed were saved when stimulus money averted the need for layoffs. While the stimulus was initially sold in large part as a public works program, only about 80,000 of the jobs that were claimed Friday were in construction.

Did you know that each of those "jobs" costs the taxpayers $160,000? Oh yeah, the cash for clunkers cars cost the taxpayers $24,000 each. The lucky folks that took advantage of Cash for Clunkers are going to find out they owe taxes on the full amount of their incentives.

Well Bozo, you should have shared this great news with the Wall street investors, they may have ignored the drop in consumer spending and confidence and stepped up thier investing instead pulling out. There is an obvious disconnect between the information the White House is feeding to you bottom feeders and what is actual reality.

    Another LIE!!!

Oh, and Mr. Stone, you don't seem to have the mental capacity to understand this financial stuff. SWe'll help you out here. You see, the problem that caused the financial collapse was the unfettered lending to people who did not have the ability to repay. At every objection by people who foresaw the crisis, Barney Frank and the other democrat party members said we were wrong, and worse. Nope, it was not Bush who caused this, despite your knee jerk reaction to everything, it was the democrats.

But Mr. Stone, you don't understand how people who just want to give people things can be so bad. If you give people handouts, they become dependent.

Instead of taking the TARP money and lining the pockets of labor, there had been something to get the government off the backs of business, then people could have had real jobs that would have been a positive contribution to the economy. Instead, we have a jobless recovery, more than six people for every new job.

You know Mr. Stone, if I had a student who made up such nonsense on a report, I would give him a BIG RED F!!!

In the first version of the "created or saved jobs" report, did you know how they figured the jobs. Simple, they asked the people they got money from to tell them. Sounds innocent, till you read what they actually did. For example, there was a school in Georgia that got about $100K to buy trucks for their program so the students would have vehicles to practice with. There were over 100 students enrolled and guess what, each and every job "created or saved" was a student. There were no jobs, it was ALL LIES! Liberals and progressives always lie! Think that was an isolated case, nope. There are plenty more cases, but I get only 1000 characters.

Too bad a progressive like you does not have the COURAGE to find the TRUTH. NO TO TYRANNY! YES TO FREEDOM! FREEDOM!!! FREEDOM!!! FREEDOM!!! FREEDOM!!! FREEDOM!!! FREEDOM!!! FREEDOM!!! FREEDOM!!! FREEDOM!!! FREEDOM!!! FREEDOM!!!

You buy this stuff do you?

Now even CBS is getting Foxinated!

"CBS Says White House Is Fudging Stimulus Jobs Numbers"
"Consider that on Thursday's CBS "Evening News," Chip Reid began a segment with the following startling statement about a jobs report card to be released by the White House Friday:

Well, Katie, that report is going to claim that the stimulus has already created or saved hundreds of thousands of jobs, but if the administration`s first effort at counting stimulus jobs is any guide, tomorrow`s numbers could be hard to believe."

Keep drinking the Kool-aid Mikey. NEVER question the Captain and you too will go down with this ship. I will be on the life boat.

Mr. Stone, it is a good thing we are watching your lies and correcting them. You sir are a moron.

According to reports from the White House, no not Fox News, but the White House, home of the usurper, there have been 640,329 jobs "saved or created". Now, as anyone with a basic education knows, that is 6 significant figures. Pretty precise number, 640,329. And yet, get this Moron Stone, when they were talking with reporters, they could not tell how many were saved or created and wait, there is more, they can't tell how many jobs were private sector jobs and how many jobs were government jobs. Oh, wait, if that was not bad enough, Moron Stone, there's more. Get this, the were quoted as saying "The data isn't perfect" and "further updates and corrections will be needed."

Moron Stone, YOU GET AN "F". Not only do you report the LIES of the most evil administration this country has ever seen, but you don't even seem to understand any of it.

2/3 of the $787 billion stimulus was allocated to create jobs. 43% of the money has been spent by now, so do the math. $787 billion x .67 x .43 / 650,000 = $348,822 per job saved/created. So think about this. The taxpayers must spend nearly $350k for each and every job saved/created. Wake up people! We have morons leading this country and they're wasting our money like never before. This country is broke, and out-of-control spending will only make a bad situation worse. We must kick these stupid clowns out of office asap and take our country back. This is a VERY serious situation that we're in.

Mr. Stone; When Obama was selling the Stimulus he promised that if we passed the bill, unemployment would not go above 8%. He said that if we did not pass the bill, unemployment would go to 9%. As you know, we passed the bill, and unemployment has hit almost 10%, and you want to call this a "success"? This is an utter and total failure. The goal was to save and create jobs that kept the unemployment rate at 8%, not lose millions of jobs, hit 9.8% unemployment and celebrate because you think you saved or created some jobs. They failed, and failed big time.

The economy is not saved, it is tanking. The GDP increase is from government spending, like on cash for clunkers, there is no real growth or recovery, it's an artificial rise due to spending.

Stop drinking the kool aid and wake up.

Health care: Ben Stein has an idea that will save billions.

Just give the poor and uninsured a $8000 - $10000 voucher so they can buy their own on the open market. 30 million uninsured x $10000 = $300 billion. WE save $700 BILLION. And the free market reigns. Yes we should be able to buy across state lines. Work to ease pre existing conditions. Simple solution that would work if not for the fact that "fixing it" is the true goal.

Quotes from Joe (how did I get this job) Biden.
6-2-09 "The stimulus is an initial big jolt to give the economy a real head start."
7-26-09 "The stimulus was intended to provide steady support for our economy over an extended period, not a jolt that would only a few months."
10-9-09 "The stimulus is working beyond my wildest imagination."
