This is yet another attempt to personalize the horrible reality of our ruthless murder by spreadsheet health care industry. Her name is Dawn and her story is heart wrenching. And yes this could be you. Go sign her petition like 100000 other people. The evil insurance in this case is CIGNA.
And this ad appeared today making this "newsworthy" I suppose...has anyone else reported on this?

INSURANCE COMPANIES = DEATH PANELS

I have Cigna and I would give it up for HONEST Universal Health Care in a minute. Everybody IN NO BODY OUT!
My husband and the father of our two young children died from Cancer last year and we had Cigna through his Union - they had the nerve to question the Oxygen that his doctor prescribed for his use after he was down to one LUNG after having had surgery to remove the other lung.
I can tell you about DEATH PANEL first hand also - many conversations with cigna begging for coverage and in tears the entire time. SEVERAL Times the cigna employees cried with me because I would not let them off the hook and I pressured them to tell me what they would do if they were me and it was their husband that needed oxygen, drugs, or an MRI. They admitted that they too were scared and some only worked for cigna because they too needed
insurance themselves for their families.
Profitcare instead of healthcare for all is a time period in history that will be infamous.
There just needs to be someone still around healthy enough to write the history books when this is all over.
It could happen to you tomorrow - you could find out your in Dawn's shoes or like my deceased husband and I needing to spend more time on the phone fighting for coverage of Oxygen, medicine, tests like MRI's and anything else they can say NO to a couple of dozen times to until you die or are to sick to care anymore about earthly things like paperwork or bills. This is what they hope will happen - statistically they know it will happen the more they say NO the quicker you will die. If you are currently not sick do something today. Read your insurance contracts - that is if you can understand them. My husband gave his life in this war against the insurance companies. What are you going to do to help DAWN today?

I haven't had a problem getting things covered by Cigna but still am really unhappy and want to speak up. The message I weant to get out involves cost. I pay for Cigna through my previous job. I am a retired government employee I am 41 my husband is 38 you would think based on our age and the fact that we are buying through a group plan would mean a reasonable premium. We pay $750/month for coveraqe. I can't switch to private insurance because I had cancer when I was 19 and have had some recent suspicious scans so any company that would even agree to insure me wouldn't pay for anything remotely related to the previous cancer diagnosos so I am stuck with Cigna. The thing I want people to know is while I am paying that much Cigna's CEO is making 27 million a year (assuming my info is correct). People need to be aware of this figure. The health care debate is just yet another example of the rich people looking out for the other rich people.
