Republicans keep denying Race has anything to do with their complaints about Obama but we keep seeing characters like the political dirty trickster, and racist Floyd Brown appearing to keep the main stream media conned with phony issues. The latest is his comments on World Net Daily where he stated," Is it time to whisper the word impeachment." To which I would add of course in your mind it is because the other fruit cake fringe ideas are dying out due to common sense prevailing.
Since the main stream media steadfastly refuses to do research let me remind all of you where Floyd Brown has come from using, an article by Joe Connason for Salon in April 2008. This was in part in response to Floyd Brown's ad in North Carolina trying to blame Obama for Chicago gang violence.
Floyd Brown first came to prominence for producing the Willie Horton ad against Michael Dukakis. George H.W. Bush eventually repudiated this ad and Brown. The only problem is that there is evidence that Brown colluded with Roger Ailes future head of Fox News, but then a member of Bush's election team in the creation of and production of this ad. This would have been a huge election law violation. The investigation was squelched once Bush was in office.
Brown's next slither onto the national stage is when he hooks up with avowed racist " Justice" Jim Johnson. Johnson had a role in the 1957 Little Rock desegregation crisis. Johnson's newsletters referred to " niggers," and threatened violence against integration. In 1966 he also accepted the endorsement of the Klan when he ran for governor. Johnson helped Brown and David Bossie create the absolute fiction known as the White Water scandal. But the pathetic media didn't do their homework on that one either breathlessly passing on lies and vague innuendo as news.
In his current attempt to elevate impeachment into the national debate Brown has no impeachable offenses to talk about. His reasoning for impeachment is based on his attempt to convince us that you don't need actual crimes because our founding fathers intended for impeachment to also be based on incompetence, gross negligence and distasteful behavior. This is the latest episode in the fantasy of a Right Wing populist revolt against their idea of dictatorship.
Obviously they are not big fans of real democracy where we elect our leaders. The majority of Americans repudiated soundly the nutty ideas Brown and his cohorts propose. Obama won the election and it is only Republicans who believe that Socialism holds any attraction for anybody.
As Sam Stein on Huffington Post points out, what is troubling about all of this is the Republican National Committee's use of World Net Daily's mailing list that they rent to put out press releases and calls to action. World Net Daily has been a major pusher of conspiracy theories. So is the National Committee aligned with these insane ideas?
While it is further evidence that we should just refer to this organization as World Nut daily for $5.95 you can get an Impeach Obama bumper sticker. Some day it may be a collectors item. Is it time to whisper dare I say it, racist, wingnut, fruitcake.

Trolling for page views? You forgot to mention that it's all George Bush's fault. Hey, face it. Your guy is plummeting in the polls like a bag of rocks in the heads of his supporters, so of course, blame it on anything you can other than the reality that the people, when they find out what he is, are rejecting him. It was once said that patriotism was the last refuge of the scoundrel. Not any more. Now it's crying racist.

A fake war that took thousands of American lives,8yrs of deregulation,tax cuts for the rich and the outsourcing of high wage high tech jobs at the expense of the middle class and the future our kids don't have. We wouldn't dream of blaming Bush because the reality was a nightmare. Now shut up and get out of the way. You lost the freaking election.
