Glenn Beck is nothing but a front man for corporate America. His 9/12 project was nothing but a march to restore the rights of corporate America to pillage the Middle Class.
All you need to do is look up who sponsored the 9/12 March. It is a Who's Who of corporate lobbying power starting with Dick Armey and Freedom Works. Many of you who attended today's 9/12 March were expressing your 1st Amendment rights. You believed Mr. Beck was pushing your beliefs. He was in fact using your fears, anger and frustration.
Today, you marched for the right of Exxon Mobile to charge you $4.00 per gallon. You marched for Bristol Meyers Squib to keep gouging you on your prescription medications. You marched for the right of big insurance companies like Met Life to deny you coverage or drop you because you got sick. You marched for the right of corporations to continue to outsource good paying American jobs. Today, you marched for the right of corporations to keep insourcing cheap labor to take your job. Today, you marched for the right of corporations to help themselves to more of your tax money to move to low wage labor overseas. You marched for the right to get the government to start wars for the benefit of corporate special interests. You demonstrated for the right of corporations to continue to get corporate welfare while you are left to fend for yourself. You demonstrated for the right to let big corporations write the laws to run this country. And you demonstrated for the right of big corporations to continue to buy our political system. Lastly, you demonstrated for the right of corporations to evade their tax responsibility while you pay the tab.
By all means check your facts and verify this for yourself. Just get on web sites that show you who the sponsors of Freedom Works are and you'll find corporations like: Exxon/Mobil, Phillip Morris, the Koch family, Richard Mellon Scaife, Bristol Meyers Squib, Met Life, and others.
Oh, Mr. Beck used all that fine sounding patriotic rhetoric and talked like he was one of you, but where were you when Bush ran up the deficit with the Iraq War to the highest level in history? Where was Rep. Joe Wilson when Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction? Where were your calls for freedom when the Patriot Act was passed? Did you know that the very corporations that are manipulating your fears while talking about how beneficial the free markets are haven't produced a single job in 10 years? They are the very ones who broke the law and imported all the illegal aliens to profit from cheap labor. By the way, those same corporations want us to pay for illegal aliens health care through the Emergency Rooms all across the U.S. rather than find a less expensive means to health care.
I said before that I was angry about how the Rich used Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber all the while laughing behind their backs. I feel angry that the Rich used each and every one of you today. Their policies have destroyed the very fabric of this nation for nothing but profits before people.

I am grateful for Glenn Beck! I have listened to him for hundreds of hours on the radio in the past five years. He is a sincere patriot who asks every one to do their own homework before they take a stand. He has a wacky sense of "humor" and is fun to hear, but he has "serious" concerns for this country. We all do! He exposes corruption. That's a good thing. There is corruption in corporate America, but the corrupt politicians are joining forces with the corrupt corporations (only the one's who are too big to fail, of course). We can keep corporations under control only if we have honorable government! We must demand that our representatives are not dirtbags!

There was an enormous amount of opinion in this article but not much fact. The author seems determined to remain blind to the realities of Obama and his administration while casting aspersions on others. You are so full of it. You like the mainstream media have absolutely no clue what is going on. The biggest complaint I have about the TEA parties is they are disorganized. They are producing results by the sheer energy of those showing up. I live in Plano Texas and there 5 different TEA Party meetings I go to including the Collin County TEA Party and Dallas TEA Party. The first rally I went to I had no clue as to what to expect. I received an email from a friend about the event. For the first time in my 62 years have I volunteered in a political movement. I thought it was enough to keep up with politcians from the media and go vote, but they are so in the tank for the Left they have become useless. I have become active in the Collin County TEA Party. Money is coming for donations. We haven't seen a dime from any organization. A man stood up after one of our meetings in July and said he was trying to put together a trip to the 9/12 event it was going to cost $500/person to take a bus.
