UFO and extraterrestrial truth advocate Jeff Peckman is back again with the Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission. His first two go-rounds generated national headlines and even landed him in a Q&A with David Letterman. Peckman’s Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission seeks “to help ensure the health, safety, and cultural awareness of Denver residents and visitors in relation to potential encounters or interactions with extraterrestrial intelligent beings or their vehicles, and fund such commission from grants, gifts and donations.”
Jeff Peckman’s other main goal is for the United States government to give UFO disclosure. Jeff explained that if the government doesn’t want to open the UFO ‘X-Files’ then it is up to the people to do it themselves with evidence available in the private sector. Peckman has always emphasized the power of the people and how if the majority pushes for the truth, it can be delivered through a ballot intiative.
To walk the talk on disclosure and his Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission Jeff will be attending the X-Conference this Friday April 17 in Hilton Gaithersburg, Maryland. The
X-Conference will feature speakers such as George Noory, Dr. Edgar Mitchell and a debate between Stephen Basset and Col. John Alexander.
The following questions are from an interview I recently had with Jeff Peckman.
Where do you see our world and the topic of UFOs in ten years?
“In less than 10 years, I expect that it will be common knowledge that extraterrestrial civilizations are interacting with people on Earth. There will be open exchange of information, culture, technology, visitors and trade between Earth and other civilizations. People might continue to have different perspectives on all this, just as people on Earth have different perspectives on similar issues for relationships between cultures on Earth. But it will be as undeniable that we are not alone in the universe as the fact that Earth people do not fall off the edge of the Earth when they travel across the ocean to other lands.”
What is your main aim with the Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission?
“The primary aim is just to inform the public about the best credible evidence regarding extraterrestrial intelligent beings and their visits to Earth. To achieve that also requires that the public has a reason to be informed about the topic. It is not enough just to have information available. A ballot initiative creates the circumstances where voters take on the responsibility of a lawmaker and deliberate and decide on an issue. It also provides them with more detailed information than what they would get from mainstream media which has conspired to prevent the public from being informed about this issue. When the public is informed, and making a decision that could affect their lives, their family, the economy, jobs, and more, it will create a fertile ground for honest and intelligent discussion about our role in the galactic family.”
Why do you think the majority of the population believes in extraterrestrial life but the majority isn’t pushing for disclosure?
“If by ‘disclosure’, you mean the government releasing UFO ‘X-files’, then one reason is that there is so much distrust of government that many people will not believe what the government says even if it does disclose the ‘X-files.’ Another reason is that the public does not easily see the connection between visitations by extraterrestrial intelligent beings, and the challenges of their daily life. When they learn that NASA is defrauding them for millions of dollars, and the CIA is siphoning hundreds of billions of dollars for secret projects related to UFOs and extraterrestrials, with no accountability to the public or any elected representatives, they will take more notice. And when they see that their jobs and homes are being lost as a result of so much of their own money disappearing they will take more action.”
“A Citizens Briefing Document is being prepared that will be online and delivered to homes of registered voters in Denver. It will provide better information about the reality of extraterrestrial visitations than what will come from the mainstream media or government agencies. It will also be posted in sections at the Denver UFO Examiner (http://www.examiner.com/x-2024-Denver-UFO-Examiner) beginning in early May.”
How did you become interested in the topic of UFOs?
“I heard a lecture by UFO contactee Stan Romanek and thought that the public should know about his experiences. Then I heard another lecture by John Schuessler, a former NASA engineer who had declassified documents and other evidence that proved the government cover-up is real. But he said he did not think the government would release the secret UFO files in his lifetime so I decided to do something about that by starting the ballot initiative to create and Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission in Denver.”
Will the Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission use tax payer dollars?
Jeff Peckman is confident this time that his campaign will be a success. He has tightened up and revised his Extraterrestrial Affairs Commission proposal and will be working diligently to promote and collect signatures for the petition in the months ahead.
