R-Truth defeats CM Punk via disqualification when Punk and Luke (the former Festus) Gallows beat him down.
First off, Luke Gallows is a great name. Secondly, anytime R-Truth takes a beating, I’m okay with it.
Kane beats Mike Knox.
Just keeping Kane on television.
Mickie James becomes the number one contender by defeating Natalya and Beth Phoenix. James then brawls with Layla and Michelle McCool, getting help from Maria.
That’s one way to get all the Divas on the show.
Teddy Long tells Batista he’ll have a street fight with Rey Mysterio next week.
I guess they want to do another injury angle with Rey.
Drew McIntyre defeats John Morrison in a non-title match.
Since Finlay was killed by Sheamus, I guess he’s no longer a good opponent for McIntyre, while Morrison needs to be relieved of the IC Title soon. He was really hot over the summer but has been spinning his wheels since.
Vickie Guerrero demands an apology from Eric Escobar. He apologizes for having met her.
This is such a weird face-turn with Escobar garnering no heel heat to set it up.
The Hart Dynasty defeat Escobar in a match booked as punishment for insulting Vickie. Escobar is held while slapped by Vickie post-match.
Though Vickie might have enough heat on her to pull this off regardless.
Chris Jericho and Big Show defeat Cryme Tyme.
A reminder that they can appear multi-brand.
The Undertaker comes out for an interview, but is jumped by Batista and their match is now a chair match.
Batista needs to win so Taker can heal up. Is Batista a big enough name or good enough to work with John Morrison on top though?

This Seems like a Smackdown I would give a B-. Not bad booking, some good matches, some new ones like
Drew Mcintyre vs John Morrison, Kane vs Mike Knox.
We have seen Cryme Tyme vs Chris Jericho and Big Show and
R-Truth vs Cm Punk about 20 times now. But Still, a good SD.
