What will Hulk be doing in TNA on screen?
The long-term direction for TNA once Hulk Hogan debuts is to have him and Mick Foley each leading their own factions. Dixie Carter was going to be a major character in the storyline but she has downgraded her role considerably after criticism of her performances.
It's difficult to see this as good news. TNA just ended the Main Event Mafia versus various factions. The group feuded with Mick Foley and Jeff Jarrett at great length, so this appears to be shuffling Hogan into the MEM's slot. That angle was tired and simply redoing a version of it for control of the company is not going to make for good television, no matter how the numbers for each group are mixed up. Worse, this opens the likelihood of a Mick Foley vs. Hulk Hogan match. That sounds like exactly the sort of idea WCW used to trot out as they fell apart.

This has the potential to be awesome, provided Hogan doesn't steamroll Foley. If you listen to Foley's Straight Shooting interview, he discusses the desire to write a feud between two older guys, and this might be it.
Of course Hogan might walk into the company and steamroll Foley, and that'd be bad.
