TNA Turning Point '09 results

Tonight TNA Wrestling held the fifth annual Turning Point pay per view live from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida.

Here is night’s fallout:

In the opening match, The Amazing Red pinned Homicide after a Code Red to retain the X-Division Championship.

TNA Women’s Champion ODB & TNA Women’s Tag Team Champions Taylor Wilde & Sarita beat The Beautiful People (Lacey Von Erich, Madison Rayne & Velvet Sky) when ODB pinned Rayne.

The British Invasion (Doug Williams & Brutus Magnus) retained their TNA World Tag Team Championships over The Motor City Machineguns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) and Beer Money (Robert Roode & James Storm) when Magnus pinned Roode after the European Hart Attack. Eric Young tried to interfere on behalf of The British Invasion but was kicked out by the referee. Kevin Nash then interfered and hit Storm with the Global Championship, which led into the match finish.

In a Six Sides of Steel cage match, Tara beat The Awesome Kong after a Thesz press off the top of the cage.

Rhino and Team 3-D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) beat “The Pope” D’Angelo Dinero, Hernandez and Matt Morgan in a street fight when Rhino pinned Hernandez after a Gore.

Scott Steiner pinned Bobby Lashley in a Falls Count Anywhere match after hitting him with a lead pipe.

Kurt Angle made Desmond Wolfe submit to a side triangle armbar capture.

In the main event, AJ Styles beat Daniels and Samoa Joe to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. He pinned Joe with a springboard 450 splash to win the bout.
