Abismo Negro
More information has been released on the surprising death of Mexican wrestling superstar Abismo Negro.
Abismo Negro (real name Andres Palomque Gonzalez) was found in a river near the town of Mazatlan on Sunday afternoon around at 1:30PM. He had apparently suffered an anxiety attack while on a bus early that morning (about 1 am), and forced the driver to pull over.
No one has confirmed what happened after that, but apparently he sent his wife a text message that he was lost on a dark hillside. His wife contacted local wrestling promoter Vicente Martinez, who organized a search party. The search party found him floating down the river. The body was confirmed as Gonzalez’ and the local coroner, Jesús Enrique Castro López, confirmed that the anxiety attack led to the events of his death. He also noted that anabolic steroids that may have been been taken by Gonzalez could have caused his anxiety attack.
As with a pro wrestling death, rumors are swirling around his death but foul play has not been ruled out.

I really enjoyed watching Abismo Negro on AAA Ive been following his career for years every since he came to TNA for the X division tournament with the mexico wrestlers, I will greatly miss watching him every week on the Lucha Libra wrestling so GOD BLESS AND REST IN PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didnt now abismo was dead until i went on vacation this past week to mexico. I went to down town monterrey i bought another one of abismo negros mask then thats when my wifes siter told me he had passed way.
i was in total shock! this man was my idol i love the way he wrestleD and his outfits were just so badass he also brouth amazing energy into the ring everytime he wrestled.he was a great wrestler and entertainer i will miss you abismo negro Arriba los Vipers!!
