The WWE Hall of Fake is said to be considering Ted DiBiase, The Road Warriors, Demolition, Slick, Ultimate Warrior, Lex Luger and the HonkyTonk Man for induction this year.
Ted DiBiase was one of the best workers the business has seen until injuries took him out of the ring. In a real and pure hall of fame it's debatable whether or not DiBiase would belong simply because he was cut down in the middle of his career. His early matches and work in Bill Watt's promotion were classics, his time in WWE, less than stellar just because it's the WWE. But Ted is said to be a strong front runner for this "honor."
The Road Warriors deserve to be in any hall of fame that is related to wrestling. They held all versions of the world tag team championship, AWA, NWA, WWF and so on and were one of the most ass kicking and exciting teams to watch. Once they got over their unwillingness to sell and therefore make their matches better, they were a better team overall.
Demolition, well, Bill Eadie should be in the HOF as Masked Superstar but to put this team in with Barry Darsow, just doesn't sit well with me. Demolition was a knock-off of the Road Warriors, a team created to try and match the success of the Road Warriors. While they had many matches that were worth watching, I don't believe they belong in a HOF. Masked Superstar, yes, Demolition, no.
Slick began his managing career in St. Louis and got so much heat it was unreal, and then he went to the WWE and then the bell rang. So was the end of Slick. Maybe he belongs in a ministerial hall of fame but a wrestling hall of fame, no, sorry.
With the amount of heat between the Ultimate Warrior and the WWE, I would be very surprised if this ever happened. And honestly, why should it, Warrior was, is and forever will be, terrible, awful, horrid, putrid and just plain sucked in the ring. There was nothing good about the Warrior, he brought nothing to the wrestling business and doesn't even belong on WrestleCrap because he was so bad!
Lex Luger? Seriously? I have pondered for days and cannot think of one good reason for Lex Luger to be in a wrestling HOF, hell, I cannot even think of a bad reason.
Honkytonk Man was the greatest Intercontinental Champion ever, next to Pat Patterson, Don Muraco and Pedro Morales. That being said, Honkytonk Man is outspoken, honest and has a take no prisoners approach to the wrestling business. Oh, he is also a great worker when he wants to be and has had a gimmick that works forever now. Does he belong in a wrestling HOF? Of course he does. Does he belong in the WWE HOF? Not if he wants to sully his great career.

Slick was underratted, he was just ahead of his time.
Why did you name the article, the Hall of Fake? Is it a typo, or is it intentional?
It should be obvious the mispelling was intentional. Why would someone want to read an article when you have such hatrid for the topic you are discussing?
The WWE Hall of Fame isn't a true hall of fame and can never be considered one when their greatest champion, the one who really launched the promotion, Bruno Sammartino isn't included. All the heat in the world should not prevent Bruno being inducted even if he doesn't participate in the ceremony he deserves to be there. When "Superstar" Billy Graham is selling his HOF ring because it doesn't mean anything...when Hulk Hogan, arguably the biggest star the WWE has ever had, says the ring is worth $20 and nothing more...how can you say this is a true hall of fame? I don't hate the HOF, I just don't like the idea that it's nothing more than a gimmick to sell tickets for prior to Wrestlemania.
"There was nothing good about the Warrior, he brought nothing to the wrestling business." Sorry, but you are wrong and I am sure the majority of wrestling followers would agree. It is no secret that he lacked the in ring skills but that was the thing. He was bigger than life. Hell, bigger than the Hulkster at one point. Almost a real life super hero. Thats how we all remember him as children watching him perform. I don't think we cared then and I know I don't care now about his moveset. Just like Hogan, he let his body language and his look do most of the talking. Warrior for HOF!!!
demolition deserves to be in any hall of fame they were great i like them better than the road warriors. ted debiasie, honky tonk man, warrior all deserve to be in any hall of fame
