Marshawn, Marshawn, Marshawn... Lynch in trouble with law again

Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch has found his way into the headlines for the wrong reason for the second time in less than a year.

Lynch reportedly was arrested on February 11 in California on felony gun charges. He and two others apparently were approached by police officers while sitting in a car and a subsequent investigation led to the discovery of a loaded weapon. It was determined the gun belonged to Lynch.

Late last May, Lynch was involved in a hit-and-run in Buffalo. He didn't face criminal charges then, but, as part of an agreement, pleaded guilty to failing to use sufficient care to avoid hitting a pedestrian and was fined $100.

The NFL didn't take any action against Lynch last time, but that won't be the case this time. If the allegation is true, Lynch is now a repeat offernder and the league has to step up and punish him.

The Bills have to plan on not having the player who has rushed for 2,151 yards and 15 touchdowns in his two years as a pro when they start the 2009 season. More importantly, the team needs to find a way to keep him in the headlines for the right reasons or they'll be looking for a new RB very soon.
