Baltimore City police seized $280,000 worth of marijuana Tuesday from a residence in northeast Baltimore.
“This is a significant amount, although not the largest we’ve ever seen in Baltimore,” said Detective Donny Moses, a police spokesman. “It is the outcome to an investigation that we are proud of.”
Baltimore police, working with Maryland state police and the Drug Enforcement Administration, executed a search and seizure warrant in the 6400 block of Glen Oak Avenue in northeast Baltimore.
A large quantity of loose marijuana and marijuana plants with a total street value of $280,000 was seized from the house and a backyard shed, police said.
Investigators also seized various marijuana-growing equipment, according to police.
Officers arrested Joseph Jesus Guadagnoli, 35, in connection with the seizure, police said.
