Carroll residents are invited to a workshop on environmentally and economically sound ways to manage yard trim through backyard composting and grasscycling.

The free event will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m.:

» May 1, Mount Airy Library, 705 Ridge Road, Mount Airy.
