WASHINGTON -
Dulles International Airport will begin offering service by Qatar Airlines this summer as the Middle Eastern company breaks into the U.S. market.
Qatar Airways will offer daily flights between Doha and Dulles, according to Qatar Airways’ Web site.
A Qatar Airways spokesperson could not be reached for comment Monday.
Qatar Airways has not confirmed the daily flight’s time or start date, Dulles spokeswoman Tera Hamilton said Monday.
Dulles Airport recently announced a number of additional international flights.
Korean Airlines expanded its Dulles service from Seoul to daily flights last week.
New carrier Iberia will offer Madrid flights five times a week to Dulles, and Ethiopian Airways will offer flights between Addis Ababa and Dulles six times a week, both beginning June 1.
