Montgomery County Police are investigating a possible murder-suicide involving a man and two small children in Barnesville, according to authorities.

Police spokeswoman Lucille Bauer said the agency received a 911 call just after 3 p.m. Tuesday about a suicide in the rural Montgomery County community northwest of Germantown. Wh,en officers and firefighters responded they found the body of an adult male and two small children in the woods near the 16700 block of Barnesville Road, Bauer said.

Early Tuesday evening, authorities were not releasing information about their causes of death or identities.
