BurlingameBranching out: A 20-foot-long, 8-inch-thick tree branch fell on a crosswalk and handicapped parking space on the 300 block of Primrose Road before 1:47 a.m. June 22. Kick the can: A man called police to complain that another man kicked over his garbage can on the 1200 block of Carmelita Avenue at 8:19 p.m. June 24. San BrunoDisgruntled: A man on the 200 block of Milton Avenue who was upset with his company threatened to sit on the railroad tracks at 9:50 a.m. June 24. Daly CityCatalytic converter stolen: A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a maroon Mazda between 9 a.m. June 22 and 10:15 a.m. June 23 in the 900 block of Wyandotte Avenue. Foster CityHello, Mrs. Robinson: A caller reported at 5:22 p.m. June 24 on Hanbury Lane receiving an obscene phone call from her son’s friend. San MateoSister squabble: A pregnant woman was reportedly threatening her sister at 2:44 p.m. June 25 in the 600 block of South Amphlett Boulevard. There were no weapons or drugs involved. The suspect left possibly driving a white Firebird. Redwood CityHit-and-run: An elderly woman was getting a shopping cart in the Safeway parking lot on El Camino Real at 11:01 a.m. June 22 when a van backed into her and took off. Child locked in car: A fire call was requested for a 2-year-old who locked himself in a car with the engine running and air conditioner on at 3:58 p.m. June 22. Be nice to your mother: A mother reported at 11:17 p.m. June 22 that her 16-year-old daughter had been abusing her for two days by holding her and not letting her go to the point where she couldn’t breathe. |
